You probably know this by now, but the reason you didn't have orbs to collect the first time was because you got targeted for overheat. Only the people soaking tank during that spawn the orbs :)

No manabar??? I just killed him too on heroic but always tried to do big ramps all the time. You basically do many smaller ramps if im correct. Wish i could see your mana for that playstyle. Btw i need that UI and WA xD
I just use Atrocity's UI, and added a frame glow for atonement! The mana bar is just a %number above my defensives on the player frame. I did entertain adding an actual bar to my frame but I'm used to the number by this point. And yeah, with mindbender at least, you miniramp frequently, and have a large ramp with rapture and evang. I didn't have tier at this point so I just played shadowfiend and sent back to back ramps in the main phases, and miniramped intermission. I was also sloppy and not soaking properly (which meant I lost the intermission amp too), so I'd have played those differently.
I'm learning disc and this was very helpful. I got all the theory but this boss was really hard in practice! Great pov !

No addons needed for that! Blizzard nuked any friendly nameplate addon support in instances a while back... I think in Nighthold? I just used these two scripts instead: /run SetCVar('nameplateShowOnlyNames', 1) /run SetCVar('nameplateShowDebuffsOnFriendly', 0) Make sure you've got friendly nameplates enabled, and the names should show like that.
