Anything DEi is woke but ill admit saying full woke was an exaggeration, full woke would be something like Concord, Veilguard or The Acolyte. I guess i said it out of frustration because its most likely going to harm the games theyre developing.

They didn't. Also CDPR confirmed that the UE5 they use is a heavily modified version of the original using RED Engine assets. Also again the issues with UE5 games isn't inherently the engines problem, its also dev issues. So no you need to go do your own research stop listening to grifters they make money off deception

Totally agree there’s still many things we don’t have, it is still nice that they continued to work on the game. But the launch still happened and we shouldn’t forget it

@@MinaKurtz-jv2ps it's a good game despite it's bullshit, but it should have been a great game that moved the industry forward not backwards. They should have used the marketing campaign's money to deliver on their promises instead of lie to our faces and then backpedal then actually scramble to deliver something resembling their promised experience, but still not quite it. It's a good game, but it certainly wasn't what was promised. Just like this new Witcher won't even be playable for two years after the launch.

We didn’t forget , some of us simply didn’t spend year hyping ourselves and reading hundreds of articles about. We bought a game that ran great on our high end PCs, was an awesome game that only got better

@@Wetpainttt It's worth some effort, one of game history's top / landmark games, and a good game besides, alongside the original Deus Ex and some others. And some effort is exactly what it does take, due to the publisher-pushed rushed release of the original version - you will need the unofficial patch(es), for sure. On the plus side, the unofficial patch(es) also unlock / add cut content and rebuild some unfinished content, as far as I know - never tested the game without the patch(es) though (decided to trust the advice of so many, and install the patch). The GOG version may have those necessities already included and installed, as they tend to do such updates, but I don't know or recall that for a fact, just an 'educated guess' based on GOG's tendency to try and take care of such fixes and updates things on their end, if they can.

The devs said the ea will last about 6 months, so expect the game to be released in mid to late 2025. While you need to pay to get into the ea, the money you have spent will be compensated by gaining in-game currency in the equivalent amount. eg. if you purchase the supporter version with 30 dollars, you will be rewarded with 300 points when the ea is released.

so basically you can get the early access version by buying some in-game currency... and yes the game will be free after its ea phase...

@@Justme-jp8ih Welcome mate. This game has a special "league" feature similar to seasons from other games, people will have a new character in every league. Based on what I know, the ea characters will be archived in the "early access league" after the full release, separating them from the full-release version due to balancing concerns. Considering a new league (new season) is released every few months after the ea phase, it would never be too late for you and your brother to join this game as you can always have a new start.

Definitely see what you’re saying the visual style is not as polished as I’d prefer.

Tbh I don't care about a characters gender being a free text field. I also don't care who sleeps with whom so long as all involved consent. The larger issue is the amount of political lecturing that we're likely to get in any game that's actively announced as being pro-rainbow. Nobody will be able to mod that out.

@@j_strength1236 Only Baldurs gate 3 is one of those kind of games that was really succesfull but the social commentary actually felt like it belonged in Baldurs gate and it was minimal and didnt feel like drama dump from devs.
