This is my favorite album！ I lent this album to a friend a few years ago, but then lost it. I found it here, and was reminded of how great it is, so I bought it again.

My mom was a close friend of his dad. I met John once. He sent a copy of this album to me via his dad. I loved this album. I just bought a vinyl copy of this album. I’m bringing it to my mom’s next week. She’s 81 now. She will be shocked

Discovered this album on vinyl at ASU's library. Shortly after, I caught a show with Roswell and Steve Lacey in Tucson. I actually got shake hands and talk with Lacey before he was called away by Rudd. This would have been 1999. It's one of my great memories. Thanks for sharing this album.

Great stuff the way music should be mainly of the jazz genre.

I first heard the song Blue Umbrella through John Prine. One of my all time favorite songs. Steve Goodman and John Prine are two National Treasures. Each of them can tell my life story better than I can. RIP My American heroes.

I saw Leopold a couple times at Amazingrace on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston. In fact, he was the first act I ever saw there which enamored me to his music and to Amazingrace as a performance co-operative space. I had the album too but don't anymore. This brings back pleasant and solid memories - very evocative, thanks for posting

I use to buy albums because of their covers, (long time ago) this album cover drew me to it. I'd never heard of the streetwalkers. Was delighted when I got it home and listened to it.

Pleasantly surprised to learn that Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain played in this band and recorded this album.

ps; It's the New Tenor Tune not the Now Tenor tune, and I played other instruments besides the ones you listed. These are listed on the album jacket.

You've managed to make my record sound like it was played underwater, no mean feet since this was recorded fairly well for the time. So I suggest you redo the upload or take it down

Picked this up sometime in 1973/74 for $1.99 at Sam the Record Man on Yonge Street, remaindered. Love side one. Still playing it all these years later, a real gem. Superb musicianship and production from John Simon. The guitar work, horns and background singers are outstanding, all beautifully integrated. Great hear Levon Helm and Rick Danko on "Hellfire, Night-Crier." Can never get enough of "Lavender Dream."

Have always enjoyed this Album since it came out. Nice to listen to it again. Used to take this to a dentist appointment turned up loud to not hear the tools.
