Just played this... we had 6 players, the majority of which were former shadowcast members. This game is a confusing mess. We were bored, the game doesn't seem to have any connection to the stage show for which it is named and the 1 LIPS was a grammatical nightmare. The whole Lab act felt pointless. The game board is too small for the characters to share a space. Did your company do ANY playtesting outside of internal testing...

Mike becoming OMC is such a cool idea. Maybe the Princess Quest tangle in the theory is that he’s willing to let characters make their own mistakes, despite his resignation. In World and UCN, he doesn’t stop Freddy from jumping into the lake while he fishes. He just gives cryptic advice. Maybe the plush in the fair trade is him handing off a symbol of the consequences of Princess’s choices, but he can’t or won’t do anything else to stop her.

I often play intrigue heavy characters so mending allows me to open envelopes, break into chests, break an artifact either for intimidation or to make it easier to hide, or even do favors for nobility to curry favor. And with the envelopes, maybe replace the letter of an offer of peace with a letter saying "we will never surrender and our children will avenge us" in order to orchestrate a massacre....
