Here on YT I wanna show you places you (probably) haven't seen. This channel is all about the more or less "hidden gems" in Europe. I will not make videos about Versailles or the Colosseum, as others have done so before waaay better than I ever could. Instead, you will see videos of picturesque villages, of special coffeeshops and reataurants, of lonely castles and pristine nature.
Sounds good? Then subscribe to my channel to make sure to not miss anything 👍
I'm making videos for this channel for fun, so I will not upload regularly - but I'll try to make around 1 vid per month :)

I like your voice and your accent. I like the way you showcase the city in a very warm relaxed way. I'm fascinated by everything Italian.
Thank you for your wonderful Video. We know Isola della Cona. It is a special nature Reserve. One time we could see a colourful kingfisher. Not far there is in Fossalon a Riserva Naturale in Valle Cavanata. There you can see even flamingos. 🦩🦩🦩
Great video. Thank you so much for the English! My ancestors are from Piana degli Albanesi, but I don't know to many arbereshe words.

Many Albanians are not interested in Sicilien, because of many problems there. I think they are almost Italians. Because of economic problems of Albania no one of them would be pride to be an today albanian. IN an column of an newspaper, for almost 15 years ago, was written that" Albanians citizens have emigrated in italia and they have betrayed their own homeland albania" It was written in an newspaper of South italia.
Albanians are very proud of their cultural heritage and their homeland. Yes the country is plagued by corruption and slow economic growth but despite that people are aware of their glorious past and are hopeful that things will turn around for the best.
Però ormai siamo abituati tutto a vivere in fake news ormai !

We are not greek
@@erti4531 Εξάλλου ούτε καν Αλβανοί , με σεβασμό προς αυτούς
Not like you or your idea of greeks thow. Arberesh or Arbanites in today's greece always spoke Albanian and most still living in today's greece did not know how to speak Greek at all until few years ago. Some Arberesh are natives of peloponesi region and at the time of the migration that region was called morea by the latinswho ruled, the migration happened after the Albanians led by Bue Shpata lost the war for pelopones with the otomans, thus a lot of the fighting famillies were forced to leave but they have no conection to your ideology of greek they were albanian blood and always spoke Albanian never knew greek apart from few people who had learned to write the official paperworks or some priests in fact it wasnt until late 1800 that your sort of language was forced upon the peoloponesian people after Arberesh or Arvanites who defeated the ottomans and made modern greece were forced to change language and became a minority when hundreds of thousands of people were brought to greece from turkey simply because they were orthodox used your greek language as church lithurgy. Of course the different opinion between people like you and Albanians is the diferent view on what is considered what. We consider Albanians only if you have the bloodline no matter where you live. You consider every one Greek and everything greece to make you feel good
GREEK IS A BIG TERM ! BECOUSE GREEK WERE IN WAR FROM THEBES SPARTANS ATHENAS ETC CRETE ETC ALL TRIBES MACEDONS ETC WERE IN WAR BETWEEN THEM SO NOT ALL ARE “greek”, today Hellenic Republic (Greece ) isnt all greek ancient into it (despite Albanian called “arvanites” contribution to 1821 Greek state reform”) so Greece is same term as LATIN , not only Italy is center of latins , even Spain etc are Latin . So greek are a mix of Albanian Hellens Athenians etc etc and still many ancient tribes of “Greek” not mentioned
Ahahahahaha psikopat
Fantastic beautiful place

they did not leave Albania in the 15th century, they exactly left Morea in Greece which is today the Peloponnese.
Yes, but there was no Greece at that time. Modern-day Albania and Peloponnese were inhabited by Arbereshe, and these areas were known as Arberia.
@@fluz2222 there never been arberia...it's your fantasy...find me a book where peloponnese is calkled arberia...peloponnese was called in venetian morea...but only some area was inhabitayed by arvanites...not everywhere and they came there in 1100 cica

Some facts: In 1470, after the marriage of Irena Kastrioti to the Prince of Bisognano (a great feudal lord of Calabria), many Albanians moved with the noble Irena to the land of her consort, thus settling Macchia Albanese, San Cosmo Albanese, San Demetrio Corone , San Giorgio Albanese, Spezzano Albanese and Vacarizzo Albanese. After the fall of Kruja (1478), the legendary capital of Skanderbeg's resistance to the Turks, new Albanian arrivals inhabited the towns of Acquaformosa, Castroregio, Cavallerizzo, Cervicati, Cerzeto, Civita, Falconara Albanese, Firmo, Frascineto, Lungro, Mongrassano, Plataci Porcile , Rota Greca, San Basile, San Benedetto, Ullano, San Giacomo di Acri, San Lorenzo del Vallo, San Martino di Finita, Santa Caterina Albanese, Santa Sofia di Epiro, Serra d'Aiello, etc. The great Albanian emigration of the half second millennium ended in 1533/34 when Albanian families settled in Naples on the island of Lipari, with the majority settling in Melfi, Brindisi, Montagna, Farneta, Maschito and San Constanto Albanese refugees arrived in 1467 (Barile) , 1744 (Villa Badessa) and 1774 (Brindisi Montagna). Other Arberesh groups have settled in the Parenzo area and in the village of Peroi (Istria and Pola). The colony of Peroi arose after a concession from Venice that welcomed some families commercially linked to Serenissima. Albanians between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries settled in Bari, Bosco Tosca and Pievetta Dogana Po (Piacenza), Cardevole (Corsica) and Rimini. Some Albanians preferred to join the Spanish army to fight heroically in European wars. The best known were the Albanian cavalry of Venice, the so-called Stratiotes, and the Albanian infantry of Naples, the Real Macedone, commanded by King Carlos VII [1734-59, III. By Spain: 1759-88].
Thanks for your informative comment, I pinned it for others to read as well :)
@@paulandpizza You are welcome bro..mind you , thats only a segment of the Arbereshe migration ,, there were many in that period. ..also we are called Arbereshe because .. When Troy was burned, BC times, the people of Troy who were Dardans by origine, left through the secret tunnel and several years later, arrived In a place they called it Syqele because they loved it very much, todays Sicily. They were the first Inhabitants there. A year later, their Leader, Priams Son in Law, AENIS suggested they have to move forward. Women refused, burned some ships. AENIS, then suggests who wants to stay, may stay and the rest should follow him. That's what happened. The rest ended up in a place they called it ETRURIA, meaning Fathers' Land. At=Father in singular ETER =Fathers, plural. Later they named the City RROME. Means to live in Albanian. Ne RROME, ju rroni, ata rrone. They created later The Rromak Empire. The rest you know. Emperor in Albanian comes from the word Perendi. Perandor= Perendi. Perandoria Rromake. Cesar, means The One who holds the Wealth of the Country. Cese =purse , where one held their golds. Cesar the Guy who hold the Country's gold. In other words, today's Italians derive directly from Troy, Dardan -Ilir
