재밌게 봐주셔서 고맙습니다. 배 구입 한지 벌써 3년 됐습니다. 그 전에는 카약 낚시 3년 했었고. 그 전에는 party boat 타고 다니고. 쉬운 관리들은 제가 직접 합니다 (배터리 바꾸고 charge 하는 거, bait tank pump 바꾸는 거, etc) 대충 배들은 every 100 hr 되면 oil 체인지를 해야 됩니다. 직접 하시는 분들도 많고, dealer 가서 하시는 분들도 있고, 저는 부르는 사람이 있어요. 배가 그리고 바닷가에 언제나 있기 때문에, 다른 분을 불러서 페이 밑에 bottom cleaning 해야 됩니다. 한 달에 2번 정도. 배는 언제나 손을 봐야 돼요…. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

@@HHplayground안녕하세요. 14 miles bank 가시면은 Catalina 까지 갈 필요가 없는데. 저는Catalina 보다 14마일 뱅크가 훨씬 더 좋아요. 요번 년에는 San Clemente island 을 많이 갔어요

제 생각에는 기쁠 수록 더 큰 우럭 잡을 수 있는 가늠이 더 많다고 생각해요. (저는 16 인치보다 작은 거는 애기라고 생각해요., 20인치 넘으면 엄마 아빠고…. ㅋㅋㅋ) 근데 젊은 낚시꾼들이 400feet 부터 700feet를 slow pitch jigging 하는계 요즘 유행 입니다. 전동릴 안쓰는 낚시꾼도 많습니다. 그리고 한가지 더: 캘리포니아에서 10월1일부터 12월 말일까지는 300 feet 보다 더 깊은데서 락 댄싱을 할 수 있습니다. 만약에 더 낮은 대로 가면 벌금 물을 수도 있습니다.

@hyounkim8815 exotic 낚시를 좋아하시는 군요. 제 친한 친구 Scott 도 비슷하게 멕시코도 가고 알라스카도 가고 별 종류 다 잡고 있습니다. 저는 매년 큰 배 타고 투나 낚시 하고 나머지는 제 배 타고 저 동네에서 낚시 하고 있습니다 이상하게 저는 우리 동네에서 잡는 게 더 재밌어요. 다른 데서 잡는 거 보다.ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

@@Fishingwithjameschoi 알라스카는 3 번 갔었구요. 캐나다 는 6 번 갔었습니다 조 작은 사진에 있는게 캐나다 Steelhead 입니다. Helicopter 타고 Skeena river Copper creek 상류에 올라가서 잡은거에요, 나는 원래 Fly 전문가입니다 Belize ,Florida ,Keywest 같은데를 많이 갔어요. Local 도 좀 했었지요.

@@Fishingwithjameschoi 여기는 싸이즈가 좀 커요, 15"-20" 예요. 그런데 같은거만 잡혀서 재미는 좀 없었어요. 전동릴도 그럿고, 낚시는 역시 카약이 재미있습니다. 이제 멘도시노에로 은퇴하여서 낚시를 좀 많이 하여 보려고 합니다.

So after years of helping newbies, bad fisherman, too much talking fisherman, i know it all fisherman’s and etc. i have decided, if i do get in to charter business - i only want to take rich Japanese fisherman from Japan only. lol.

I believe those aren't vermillions; they appear to be Mexican rockfish, which aren’t subject to the 2-per-person limit. (Though, to be fair, I’m not an expert but i would challenge your comment with absolute certainty.) We’re always committed to following all guidelines and regulations to the best of our ability. @@laziee82 no …. We do regular jigging but not much luck. I did start buying slow pitch jiggin for BFT but not for rockfishing. We mainly use electric reels and we have been fishing around 720 to 740 feet.

​@@Fishingwithjameschoitry out those same bluefin jigs, but on a proper slow pitch jig setup. Smaller electric reels also work. Trick is the thinner braid, 20-30lb max. Been out many times where the fish wouldn't bite bait, but would bite any jig worked in the column. Also, no kimchi with the chapagetti? Beast right there.

I have been deep rockfishing at 14 miles bank on Saturdays. (Probably like 5/6 times) but it’s hard to show videos of rockfishing because you just drop and wait…. Reel and wait… and repeat. Not sure how many folks wants to see me rockfishing every week. lol Just came back again from deep rockfishing at 14 miles bank. Fished solo for 1.5 hrs and came back. Water was getting rough. Got some deacent size again. Have a great weekend bill.

고맙습니다. 제 영상 재밌게 봐주셔서. 재밌는 날도 있고 어쩔 때는 지루한 날도 있고, 어쩔 때는 못 잡을 때도 있고. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 칼로 먼저 피를 빼고 나머지는 가위를 쓰던지 아니면 칼 ,별로 상관이 없는 거 같애요. 근데 가위가 배에서 쉽게 녹슬기 때문에 칼을 더 많이 사용하고 있습니다.

When i was grilling it. It looks like bacon but after grilled it tastes like fried croaker. (It sure did have lots of lots bones. I didn’t like it but i didn’t put teriyaki sauce like Scott did at home and i don’t think i filled it correctly. I’ll try it one more time before i say no forever. Lol

Well i had lots of hopes for this trip. But fish wins again. Not much i can do with no big fish on board. So i made video of just nothing. Lol Thanks Glen. I know you get it. Fishing isn’t easy and it really never works out the way you plan it. lol. But i got Oct, my favorite time to fish in southern ca. wish me luck. (Trying for epic epic fishing. ) Me too: My 2016 Parker gets 2.33 mpg.

I had so much hope but nada. My current record is 4 out of 7 on yellows right now. Lol Capt Mike and capt Lindon limited on lincods at SBI but we couldn’t find it. And they limited on good size rockfish as well. We were trying to for lincod and yellows.

@@Fishingwithjameschoi now the vermillion rock fish is limited to 2. Outer oil rigs at Long Beach we we were catching Ventura size Vermilion fish close to 5 to 6 pounds at 600ft. Now we are only allowed no deeper then 300 ft. 😢
