Kanjivarams are very beautiful but they are too stiff .

Make mention of Asawali border where floral n leaves vines run along the border in zari...also kadiyal border.The designs are inspired from Ajanta caves paintings and the nature.

Good to know about Kanjivaram sarees. Same way knowledge about other weaves , embroideries n motifs etc from throughout India would enlighten Indians about the treasure we have. We are forgetting this treasure because of moving more n more to western look.
