But on a more serious note, are some domestic rabbits agouti? I rescued one that the previous owner abandoned but it looks like one of the outside bunnies? Is it possible it’s a cotton tail? Or do some house bunnies look like this too?

That actually is more stressful for the rabbit. It’s called trancing when you flip them on the back and their heartbeat will slow down, and some rabbits the heart will completely stop

OMG! I can so relate! I have the same dog breed and a lot of people have no idea what he is. Even the vet though I was making his breed up till he checked on his text books and found my dogs breed…. Then proceeded to call all the vets and vet students in the area to come and get a look at my dog.

I was looking at getting into Silver Foxes this year and was very surprised after hearing so many youtubers talk about how they are more rare to find that here in Utah they are all over KSL (our local version of Craigslist) Seems like they are not nearly as rare as they used to be. Still looking at getting into Silver Foxes.

Hey have you had problems with nest box eye infection Iv not had any problems until recently Iv introduced a buck that has the colors I need and on the first breeding no problem then I bred him to another doe and I get 2 kits with bad infection in there eyes Iv never had this problem at all before even when I bred the buck the first time so I have started to clean the nest better and keep better eye on them recently Iv bred his son and Iv got 2 more with eye infection even though im doing extra cleaning In the litter I plan to keep one that’s not experiencing any problems little extra crusty eyes but that’s it and continue to breed the line fore the colors I desire and I should be able to breed this out the original buck is lined up to be culled as he is no use his son is a much better specimen and I wouldn’t be jumping to conclusions but my other buck I’m not having a problem with same lines Iv bred and never had a problem with and the does is the same lines only difference is the bucks line and it’s only happening so far when I breed either him or his son I really don’t wanna cull the son I have that’s half my original blood line and half the new because he is near Perfect but if I continue to have the problem only with him and no outher I am and hopefully his son who is 2 part original and 1 part the new line will not have any problems but if so then I guess I’ll haft to trash the entire line and start back over with completely new buck definitely not something I’m ok with dealing with and is not something Im ok with being in any rabbit populations

Reduces parasite load dramatically. Use thicker wire 1/2" x 1" welded wire so it's easy on their feet. I've raised rabbits my entire life (52 yrs)

Btw we kugel cultured our beds and the first year we only had 1 successful crop and that was butternut squash. 😮we ended up with over 50 of them. So for the holiday, I made butternut squash pie instead of pumpkin, and No One Could tell. 😊 this year, the beds are much better since the plant matter filler has broken down and isn't causing nitrogen issues. Plus, we added hydroponic build out of an old ladder and bickets for the tomatoes. 🤞

My husband finally built me my raised beds last year, and like you, I'm on to other projects like my mushroom and medicinals growing, since like danny is your crazy poultry lady, my husband is now my crazy garden lady. I mean, seriously, he's like a helicopter parent with the garden. We started easy with you know radishes and kale, 😑 apparently they aren't that easy for us😂. Oh, quick tip I learned while watching a series about living in tudor England. You've gotta try Rutabaga! Sweeter and soo much bigger than turnips, and they used them as a livestock feed.

I've been on tons of others, and some are ok others. i can't get past a minute, but yours actually helped me actually make some important decisions on the new adventure. When i find a channel I like, I binge through the videos, and the algorithm seems to like that, especially since im an avid commentor. Thank you for your content, and my second was a big premie too, but then again, their dad is the equivalent of a flemish rabbit in humans at 6'7". 😊
