Very informative. Including a visual of the refills is pure class. Well done. Thank you!
Many thanks for the different videos you uploaded! A question regarding the polish emulsion you use: what is it called, where do you buy it? Kind regards
Did he said Perfectly aligned I would highly recommend to check it if you would like to have a giggle. Around 8:16
Good work 👍
Its Not a pretty watch, but definitely the Best Monopusher for the money!
You got me just by using the black ops chair at the beginning loved that bit
I have this watch in stainless steel strap, mine is aligned and the time is accurate i have no complaints im very happy with this watch 🙂
One of my top favourites in the collection!!! By far💙.
Stunning, I want one!
Awesome and very detailed review, definitely deserves more views. Do you still have the watch? I have a 17cm wrist as well and would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the comfort and wearability, especially on the bracelet. Thanks!
I apologise for the late reply. I still own the watch. It's very comfortable despite the typical Longines long logs, so it should wear very well on your 17cm wrist. The bracelet feels... soft(?) in a way. Like wearing a leather strap but it's steel.
Mine just cracked at the post end. 😒30 years pristine ( withstanding police patrol & a myriad of handwritten reports) and then yesterday … my favorite roller ball.
I don’t think that only Prestige edition has quick release…🙄
I am so confused between this one or the turtle
It's two different case designs. The turtle is round with no sharp edges.
Should I buy one new for $500 aud
If you feel it's worth it. I'm not giving any economical advice.
Bought it today and really like it. Thank you for the review!
Bien!!!
Is the designation 117 correct for a (shorter) Montblanc rollerball version to the 116 ballpoint. Under that numerical designation (117) I'm finding nothing in my research except the mechanical pencil. I would prefer a rollerball version (117) to the 116--but is there one? Thanks for the help in advance.
No, 117 is the Mozart pencil, as per the video. 118 is the rollerball. However, the numbers aren't always used within the Mozart line, generally they're just called "Mozart rollerball" and so on.
Fantastic overview of the range - which can be very confusing to be honest. Your explanation is the clearest I have found anywhere.
Thank you! I took extra care when writing the script to make it clear and easy to understand. I'm glad it shows. 😊
May I ask? Are you from Sweden?
I am. You caught the accent? 🙂
This watch is crazy good for what you get and looks good on my 8” wrist , for the price you can’t beat it. This watch retails for $595 & I bought mine on sale new for $400
That's a good deal!
I bought mine from a friend yesterday, also for about 400 dollars. The original owner apparently bought it brand new in July for about 650. I personally don't know anything about watches, and I have spent the better part of today wondering if I even like it tbh. Sure it looks good, but I don't know if I like the blue all that much. I'm sure my friend would buy it back if I told him I didn't want it, but I am giving it a try. Also here on the internet to see what others think of it. I love that it's pretty big.
Hey! Great video! Very useful and clearly explained. That ''pad'' with the MB logo, can I ask you where did you get it?
Thank you. I found the tray on eBay. Old store equipment in mint condition.
Looks like a really nice watch
Base Caliber ETA A31.L11
LOL, a bespoke leather case to hold the spare leather strap...C'mon..
A nice overview to better understand the MB line....did not realize the Mozart had additional writing instruments...thanks! Subbed...
I am fortunate to own all of the fountain pen series mentioned here; one point (& it may be moot), but why is the 147 'Traveller' a Meisterstuck ? It is not a designated piston-filler. Trusting you may be able to answer my enquiry. Thank you for your comprehensive overview, Andrew
"Meisterstück" isn't exclusively for the fountain pens. It's the name of the design line, containing pencils, ballpoints, rollerballs, cartridge fountain pens and piston fillers. Just like the Starwalker have its own design, but also with different writing types within that line.
Understood. Thank you for that clarification - enjoy your day !
anyone else having problem with attaching the leather strap?
The quick release spring bars can be a bit tricky, but they work well.
I have this watch and put it on a mesh bracelet. Looks amazing. My bezel aligns perfectly as does the chapter ring. Mine also winds beautifully and does not interact with the crown guard. I think you need to make sure you have unscrewed the crown properly, as per your video. Overall, a lovely watch and nice review.
The crown is completely released. It's free without resistance when turning the opposite direction, but catches the threads when turned the right way even with a minimum of pressure.
How do you "save oceans" by producing even more plastic items, like packaging for this watch? You don't - it's just marketing bs.
You save the package ... duhh
By giving money to foundations. Plastic is not the problem. Waste management is.
Thank you, very useful!
Very nice watch as good review i have two Seiko samurai's one black and the other orange timekeeping pretty much what is exspted both needs to be Calibrated i just recently ordered the Crafter Blue rubber band orange in color to match the watch very good well made diving band i highly recommend this band as it fits really nicely!
I wonder how many viewers appreciate the Call of Duty reference at the beginning! Very nice video
Mason still don't know. 😆
Great. ❤️❤️❤️👌👍
I was gifted one recently.. i love it. It's an amazing watch. Thanks for the video 👍
They could have done a better job with that chapter ring printing.
👍
More than 8 tons a year
Thank you so much for the video! I inherited a mont blanc a while back and was told that it was a converted pen to pencil. I was fairly sure it was authentic but I nonetheless scoured the internet for these so called "conversions". Your video has helped set my mind at ease. I believe mine was made sometime during the cold war era since "W-Germany" is inscribed on part of the clip. From what I understand the "W-Germany" was to clarify that it was made in West Germany as opposed to East Germany which was a communist territory. Correct me if I'm wrong... I'd love to know more about it and its history!
The furthest underwater I've ever been is 12ft in my teens at the neighborhood pool and it's no different for any of you other fat slobs arguing over their watch going down 2, 4, 6, 800ft underwater, just stfu with your stupid dive talk, you look silly 😅🖕 And these fkn manta rays (which most of us have never ever seen, look like coffee stains.
Just got the 37m in blue with blue leather strap this watch is very premium feeling and fabulous 🔥🔥
Excellent choice if you want a smaller size! Also, date at 6 looks very good. I'm a bit bummed that the first year had it at 3 and then they changed it.
6 is really nice to place it yes but it makes more exclusive that you have that piece as well knowing they are not making it like that anymore
Very very nice...the big problem is: this one or the "regular" manta?? I'm getting crazy about LOL! Very nice vid1!
Definitely go for this one. The upgrades make a difference.
@@thetinkeringseal thanx much appreciated
@@thetinkeringseal This one FOR SURE. I've had mine for a while now and wear it daily in construction work; it gets a beating but still looks new.
J'ai exactement le même tapis de bureau
Thanks saved me a lot of headache :)
Then my work is done. ☺️👍
Thank you for this. Please share your settings for photos and videos. I just started using this camera and sometimes the image looks too soft. Did you adjust the sharpness in picture control?
Thank you - lots of useful information!
Thank you! ☺️
@@thetinkeringseal my pleasure - I now know what the serial number indicates; this is very useful!
Not really understanding how this is a pilots watch and not a field watch.
For that you have to go back in history, to the original pilots watches. Simple dials with high legibility and an oversized crown. Look at the type A watches from the dirty dozen as one example.
For those of us who wear our watches on straps, these crappy buckles are a big disappointment. You think Longines would give us a deployment clasp at this price point.
Deployment clasp on a NATO strap is not suitable. For the other strap it would be nice though, if it's an updated variant. Their old (current?) deployment clasp isn't anything high end.
6:38 At first I thought you said it felt a bit slippery because you thought it was Polish 😂😂. Sorry about that lol.
Lol, mantas are a bit slippery though. 😂
Is it Made in Japan. 🇯🇵
I have a seiko 5 automatic sport
Plz do a review on the stainless steel cable if you can...thinking of buying it...🇬🇧🇬🇧
