these days mostly Aseel hens go broody for others you need to trick them into broodiness provide a space with no light comfy bedding (mix some sand ) remove the real eggs continuously to make sure they do not rot( keep them in a cool place in summer but not in refrigerator)and place dummy eggs (plastic or wooden)always have plenty of dummy eggs in the place where she lays eggs never go near her when she is laying egg. do this and if you are lucky she will go to her laying place at evening and will sit on the eggs its the sign that she has gone broody wait the night then next day remove dummies and place the real eggs. (I do this all the time and its so much fun, my first hen on which i experimented was plymouth barred rock) if your hen is more than a year old then there is a little chance. but if she just started laying eggs then chance is pretty good. here you go take the advice nicely!

an extra advice: never wash the real eggs which you want to hatch
