In coaching, “the moment of choice” is pivotal. It's the instance where we can shift our behaviour to align with our “behavioural goals”.
This process starts with “actionable self-awareness”-noticing the impulse to revert to old habits.
Next comes “self-remembering”, recalling the skills and mindsets we've practised.
Then, we engage in “self-redirection”, focusing our attention on desired actions.
Finally, we achieve “behavioural activation”, where real change occurs.
Mastering these steps enables us to navigate each moment of choice effectively, fostering growth and development.
