@@michaelnguyen1977 did you put any adjustment to the clutch switch as well, or just plug in the replacement lever ? Sorry for asking many questions at once 🙏
Hi, I'm trying to remove this lowering link from a used G310R that I bought. I've removed the bolt, but the spring is not coming out of the link. Are there inner pieces that still hold the link together? If so, how can I remove them?
I did it last year, so I can’t remember clearly, but you need to lift the bike up on a center stand, for the swing arm to drop down, and the components should come apart. No compression required.
Hello Michael, would you consider trying something like this? I'm really wonder that how it looks and works on 310r. There is an example for 310gs on youtube. www.amazon.com/CPOWACE-Headlight-Replacement-Compatible-Motorcycle/dp/B07L2WZXCV/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
Hey Mike, I am planing to buy for my wife (she is a bit over 5-2) BMW GS 310, do you think this link would work on that bike too, or can you provide info of manufacturer who is making the link, thank you, V!
Hi V, it will lower the Gs 2 inches. The problem is the GS is obviously taller than the R. It will be much more comfortable for her, but she will still have to lean to one side and be on her toes.
Michael Nguyen Thank you Mike, she was sitting on R with lower seat and with very thin shoe sole touched the floor , GS is 2 inches taller I think with your mode and bike boots she should be just fine, will see.... Q: how did you determine how much you need to lower the fork? The link manufacturer does provide the information?
Show us how you measure and cut the mudguard. That is the part I am not sure. Btw, I am trying to low the 310GS instead, which is even taller than 310R.

Mike, is there a way to remove the sleeve to take the block out?
Nice video!

Also, are you compressing suspension for installation of the link?
