These dudes have something in each other that I don’t think exists in any defined relationships. David Lynch is a genius, but of course he’s on a totally different wavelength than everyone else in the world. Or so he thought until he met “Kale”. Kale was a young actor, talented, confident, cool, but could somehow dial up to David’s wavelength. And what he found up there was a friend and mentor that he could truly understand. Kale translates David’s brilliant and idiosyncratic language into truly exceptional and quirky performances. I believe that no other person on earth understands them on the level that Kale and Lynch understand each other. They make each other’s art better. And that’s beautiful. That is a deep, deep bond that likely makes them each other’s very best friends. And let’s be honest, that depth of friendship is rare for anyone, but especially between men. Find a best bro who looks at you like Kale looks at David Lynch. That’s what real human connection and a once-in-a-lifetime kind of friendship are. But maybe they’ve also banged. Which, like, who knows, but respect. Doesn’t change a thing, yet somehow makes it so much better. Unless there was an exploited power dynamic between Lynch and Kyle which essentially made Kyle want to impress and please the man he looks up to most. Then I feel sad and sketched out about the whole thing and this comment I’ve left in general.

Spoiler warning: I just finished season 8 of Desperate Housewives. I really wished Bree and Orson stayed together, rather than her and the lawyer. While I do believe Rex to be the love of Bree's life, I feel Orson compliments Bree so much better. He's always willing to participate in her shenanigans, and it shows their chemistry! I understand things changed after prison and him becoming handicapped, but I really wished they worked things out -- rather than Orson becoming a black mailer. One thing I couldn't wrap my head around was Tom and Lynette getting back together. It just made far more sense to be happy apart. Them reuniting was done solely for nostalgia: only looking at the good part of their relationship. I think that's such a toxic mentality to have. I really disliked the ending because of this reason 😅
