Nostalgic . When we were young , father around and no war at our country . When I heard this song for the first time I felt the struggle of the Tibet in Banco’s music Now after 13 years I can totally relate to how genius and genuine this song is Much love and the best day is today . Just realized after all these years the main melody is taken from Ninja Gaiden 1 "Devilish Influence".
If there's any influence, it's the other way around. This track came out in 1995, and that game came out in 2004.

Travelling up north to inverness SCOTLAND, in a car with 4 people on a come down, i had the good idea to have my walkman, and by god, beautiful cold clear winters day, with this playing in my ears, the most beautiful scenery ever. GODSEND!!!!!!
It really is perfect as driving music. I have memories of listening to this day after day as I drove up I95 in Maryland (USA).

This is such a weird song, the samples don't sound anything like Tibetan and are just plain weird. Also there was no train to Tibet back then. And the first train to Lhasa opened in 2006 and certainly wasn't a steam train. Just compare it with actual Tibetan music: ruclips.net/video/GZFOkCksjBw/видео.html
All the cyrillic stuff is probably Albanians laughing at us or being annoyed. I don't care though, the message is clear the music glorious.

Master class from Toby. 🤙🏻. Long live the Whirl-y-gig, Shoreditch, London of the early to mid 90’s if only in memory. I thank all the powers that brought me to be born in 71, to catch the late 80’s to mid 90’s rave/dance scene. The many experiences from over 30 years of raving, clubbing, DJ’ing at parties on occasion. Met Toby at one of Bob Dogs Mega Dog gig at Reading uni back in around 91-93 (longtime ago now), interviewed him along with Natasha Atlas from transglobal Underground.

Nice. Born 1976. The 80s and 90s were really the peak of our civilization and western society. I saw Banco with my ex in 1999 in Vancouver, Canada. It was at this amazing club we used to go to all the time. Graceland. Pretty famous back then. I was there one night dancing, just having a great time. Who is there too? Lady Miss Kier from Deeelite. Just dancing and getting down. Im a pretty good dancer, so of course we started dancing and danced until the lights came on. She gave me a big hug and kiss and said to come back and party with them at The World after. I didnt. I was with my ex. I wish I had. Deeelite had a show in town that night. This was where everyone liked to party and dance to some awesome house and trance music back then. One night Prince stopped in to party too. I wasnt there that night. But it was that kind of place. Very industrial. Anyways back to Banco, they played there too at Graceland. It was one of the best shows I ever saw, as far as I recall. We had some amazing Mitsubishis I scored from my friend for this particular night. The days and nights were long back then. I knew these were amazing times we were living in back then. Hopefully in the next few years we all get a hold of ourselves again and learn to treat each other with respect and dignity again. Peace yall. Never stop dancing.
