I became obsessed with tournament bass fishing on RUclips when the world shut down in 2020. Since then I've become a competitive club level co-angler, and a multiple BASS Nation qualifier. Sometimes winning, but most of the time losing dozens of club tournaments and derbys since then. I also have my own 50 HP Tracker Bass boat that I use from time to time to live the front boater dream but it is not enough boat for the big lakes.
Join me as I test my acquired skills on random ponds and lakes smack dap in the middle of KS and MO. Sometimes I am joined by my friends and family. And best of all, the occasional appearance by my first bass fishing mentor Randy!

Little tip I learned from Ike. If you trim about 3/4ths of an inch off one side of the skirt, it walks alot better !! Nice Bass BTW !! I went this morning for a couple hrs. Caught 10 or 12 Bass, and 1 Crappie. All on a modified white BooYa 3/16 Spinnerbait!! The 3/16th comes with 2 blades. But the main blade is a Willow leaf blade. I swap the Willow for a Colorado blade. Gives almost the same flash, with alot more thump!! I like to modify alot of my lures!! New Subscriber here. Good luck!!

@@bassfishingwithrandy Absolutely !! Love me some hollow body frog fishing!! Hell... I'm down with any top water lures!! Caught the 7.5 2 yrs ago 6:15am on a Rebel PoP R, Silver with a black back. Kinda look like a Shiner!! Where you lay your head sir?? Morgantown WV here !! Same little lake I fished today, Probably 5ish acres. I caught a 6.5 last yr, and a 7.5 the yr before that. Now in Texas or Florida a 7.5 pounder isn't that big. But here in WV. That's a Studdd!! Our State record Largemouth is just a little over 10lbs.. 10lb 3oz I think. So a 7.5 is definitely respectable for The Mountain State !! Definitely keep Grinding Brother and you'll get there!!
I'm in Kansas City! So a lot of the Central lakes , and I get down to Texas once a year.. PB is only 5.5 but I've only been bass fishing 4 years now. That's awesome man! Have a great Fourth! 🇺🇸
