Touring and reviewing gyms all over North America
The most ELITE gym equipment I’ve ever seen | Torture Gym Las Vegas
Today I took a tour of Torture Gym, which only has equipment from the owner's line, New Tech. New Tech is one of the most versatile equipment companies and i'll bet most have you have never seen or used these. I walk through with owner @fitjason808 and his wife, going over some of our favorite pieces. We also talk about how this is the ONLY Olympia approved gym.

Просмотров 983Год назад
Today I take you through a tour and interview with Smash Iron Fitness' owner Carlo. Based out of Las Vegas, we go through why this is dubbed the strongest gym in Las Vegas, and is making waves in the recovery space that offers the cheapest (from what we've seen) cold plunge sauna room. They have some of the best equipment here for people interested in Strong Man, and the community to back it up...

Lift Factory in Las Vegas | Interview and Full Gym Tour
Просмотров 2 тыс.Год назад
Dubbing themselves as the only hardcore gym in Las Vegas, The Lift Factory definitely lives up to the name. The history of the pieces here are worth the watch alone, but the interview with the owner, Ernie, is any aspiring gym owner or entrepreneurs motivation. Ernie and Nick were scrappy from the beginning, using any and all resources they had to get the gym open and it's now a huge success, j...
Kilo Club Las Vegas Tour & Review
Просмотров 4 тыс.Год назад
I take you on a full tour of Kilo Club in Las Vegas. This is located in Tivoli Village, near Summerlin. Throughout the video you'll see how exclusive and quiet this gym is. We filmed around 7 p.m., which is usually a prime gym time. This gym is so exclusive that they rarely offer day passes, and there's actually a waitlist to join the club. At the time of this video, gym memberships are $250 pe...

Просмотров 2,1 тыс.Год назад
We get a full gym tour from the owner @Lisa_Alli at Elev8tion in Las Vegas. We go through her favorite pieces, unique pieces at the gym and amenities like their lounge and posing room. I had to take advantage of the day pass so I take you through a glute focused workout. Comment below what gym we should feature next! Please be sure you like and subscribe so we can keep making videos like this! ...
I've been using the Cobra grips for around 8 years, only when I do a last widow-maker set of 10 reps on deadlifts, love them, but they did just start to break down on me. The edges started oozing out a dark, tar-like rubber, that got all over my bar, so unusable now, Wondering if there's a gel inside these? Anyway, I guess 8 years isn't too bad but like said, I only use them on one 10 rep set, once every 10-14 days.
Are they as as robust as the hammer strength?
Kinda crazy how you try and review these grips but grip the weights wrong. You are supposed to use UNDERHAND NOT overhand grip. lol
Thanks for this video I’ve been sifting through a metric PHUQ ton of products on Amazon and needed a real human’s input
Great review, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review. I just got the versa but it hurts my wrist so im returning it.
let it break in you'll get used to it. all lifting gear is a bit painful at first.
@@catedoge3206 thanks I’m waiting on the cobra grip to give that one a try.
@@catedoge3206 been using the cobra grips last 2 sessions and it’s more comfortable than versa grip in my opinion and save a bit of money as well.
Ya, I definitely prefer the padding on the cobra grips
@@ducdu4136so you prefer cobra or versa ?
Great looking gym but I'd be embarrassed by Olympia approved. No Mr Olympias trained there before or used Newtech equipment.
Ya, I’m not positive about the background of the “Olympia approved”. I was at the grand opening and one of the Olympia judges was there, and I’m almost positive Newtech has been used backstage at the actual shows for the last few years (not positive how long). Must be some kind of partnership
Las Vegas is the new Mecca of bodybuilding / lifting
Agreed!!
Newtech gym equipment performs and feels as good as it looks.
For sure. It’s some pretty looking equipment, and super smooth. Loved the self rotating handles on some of the back machines
Lisa ❤
She’s the best!

07:00 You are wrapping the straps the wrong way
🤦🏽♂️
Pretty sure after watching your review that you have no idea how to use straps. Try deadlifting or doing rack pulls. Then try reviewing lifting straps.
Appreciate the feedback! My main point of the video was to give more in depth feedback on a variety of straps so you don’t have to buy each one and waste time on it. Hope it somewhat helped 👍🏼
@@GymPilgrimthanks for the video, right on time.
Those recovery tools they have are things im thinking about getting for my home gym
All around great options! If you’re local it’s a great place to check them out before investing
You got the wrong size versas.
the straps work the best hands down if you lift heavy. You dont need "gloves" if you dont train heavy. And those straps will last for many years.
this is a bad take i know women who can do lunges with like 40lb weights in each hand, i wouldn’t call that lifting heavy but they certainly have grip fatigue by the third set
@@DerzPT you can easily use straps. Gloves don’t do shit for fatigue. Straps do.
@@DerzPT always a troll on every video.
@@executiveinvestments I'm not sure what part of what I said was trolling, but I have worked out with female D1 athletes, and often, their forearms are weaker than their backs or legs. So Versa grips "gloves" are a great option, faster to use than straps.
@@DerzPT faster? So it’s a speeding contest? It literally takes 3-4 seconds to strap a bar. But hey, you keep trolling. Straps are better than the scam versa grips.
That equipment is definitely breaking some barriers. I always had Atlantis, Prime and Panatta as my top 3. Just the few pieces shown I am stunned by the innovation. Would love to see more brands come out with a loadable back extension like the new bootybuilder machine. Great channel👍
They are leading the pack with machine innovations for sure. Will be interesting to see who adopts these changes in their next models 👀
I went with the versa grips Xtreme. Probably most important piece of equipment I bring to the gym. Must say they are the best ive used.
Great feedback!!
A lot of art on the wall but it looks cramped
It is more of a tighter gym. it’s just a small space, but they have a ton of great equipment with the space they have.
the versa sizes are by wrist circumference soe you pretty sure had to big ones
Cool, thanks for the heads up! I’ll have to give the smaller ones I try in the future. I genuinely have pretty small wrists, so I should have assumed that much hahah😂
Doesn’t even compare to dragons lair 😂😂😂😂😂
That video should be coming soon 👀
Those are some nice machines and it's cool that they have two rooms to take pictures in so you people can stop taking pictures out in the workout area.
At a place like this, at least 1 good posing room is for sure a must imo
Octagonal plates serve NO purpose. Other than that a nice gym.
Great reviews. I decided on the cobras
Let me know how you like them!
how are they?
Rubber or leather?
@@Oceanhenry the ones I demoed are neoprene, but I got a rubber pair back in 2019. Both good. I like the look of leather, but it’s not tacky enough for me. I’m sure it’ll last long though
@@GymPilgrim just received the rubber, n they work really well! Cheers for the review either way tho!
No eccentric machines For example ARX machine.
Interesting, I’ve never heard of ARX, but familiar with a different brand that does something similar (X-Force). I’ve honestly never been to any gym with that type of equipment though, where have you seen it? Would love to check it out and review the gym!
@GymPilgrim ARX is garbage don't worry they will be bankrupt in 2 years.
Good gym. WoW.
Couldn't quite notice it, but do they have a hip thrust machine or smith machine?
They do! There’s one by Gym 80 and by booty builder hip thrust machine. As for smith machines, there’s an angled hammer strength smith machine here as well! Overall I’d say this is very well equipped gym
Hi LJ: I like your video gym tours. You have probably been to over a hundred gyms in your lifetime. Have you ever heard of a brand called Excaliber Fitness? Larry Sullivan is the owner of Excalibur Fitness. Most likely, Excalibur Fitness is the only company in the United States, or possibly the world, that makes fitness equipment out of 304 High Polish Stainless Steel. High Polish 304 stainless steel does not peel, chip, or rust. 304 stainless steel does scratch, but can be re-polished to a mirror finish. Larry Sullivan was the foreman of Icarian during their early years. First generation Icarian equipment was in all of the Gold's, World, and Powerhouse Gyms. Those Icarian pieces were super heavy-duty, and took decades of abuse. Larry Sullivan developed/modified, and designed new equipment, often working overtime. He was one of the major factors on the success of Icarian, and was given a percentage of the company, by the founders of Briles/Johnson. Excalibur Fitness custom made us Two-two tier 3/8 inch 304 High Polish Stainless Steel dumbbell racks with double saddles. The top tier, and bottom tier are separate. The dumbbell racks are welded, and not bolted on. I never liked heavy dumbbells at gyms, that are hanging off one dumbbell saddle. We paid $7000.00 (seven thousand) for the two dumbbell racks in 2005. Larry Sullivan delivered our stainless steel 4 inch by 4 inch Olympic bench press/Olympic incline press, 3 inch by 3 inch dip stand, and a 3 inch by 3 inch medicine ball holder in 2011. He replied, if he had to custom make the same dumbbell racks, it would easily cost over $10,000.00 (ten thousand) not including crating, shipping, and taxes. It is now 2023, and I would guess, the dumbbell racks are easily over twelve thousand. Stainless steel prices, and other precious metals have skyrocketed. Larry Sullivan also fabricates custom stainless-steel balconies, and gates, when highlights his artistic side. Please make more RUclips video gym tours. Thank you.
Great gym, great glutes on the hostess, although she made a mistake on the side Delta or medial head and not side lats.Enjoyed it.
Nice gym, nothing like a trainer with a gut and no muscle, screams do as I say but not what I really do.
I mean…I wouldn’t say NO muscles 🤷🏽
He's got a little bit of muscle! Freddie Roach was a journey man boxer but was able to mold PacMan into one of the greatest boxers of his generation and won multiple world titles in different weight classes.
@@cobracommander9138 thanks man! @grovepeate3316 had me planning my next cut 😂
Gimmick club,good luck.
What's gimmick about it?
Having awesome machines is one good gimmick.
Was hoping for a more in-depth discussion on the machines and why each piece was selected.
Thanks for the feedback! We hit on this a bit more in the The Lift Factory if you want to check that out
Would love to see you go to Fit Club, Dragons Lair, Iron Addicts, Yaks, Fight or Quit, and Powerhouse
Most of these are on our list to check out actually so stay tuned!
How much is it per month?
It’s currently $240
Such a solid gym 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Anyone seen equipment with this much versatility before??
😮😮
So incredibly informative. Those end takes tho. 🤘🏽🤣
that preworkout hit immediately

Great interview!!!! Love these guys! They are so well connected in this industry for a reason
Completely agree!
Looks like a sweet gym
It definitely is!
Brother, let me first say that I enjoyed every minute of this video. You have a real talent for showcasing equipment and giving YOUR insights and knowledge. You definitely know your stuff which is rare to see nowadays. You can definitely get far with RUclips if you keep it up. Subscribed and look forward to your growth.
Man, I really appreciate it! My interest in different gyms and equipment has grown so much year after year. This has been in the works for a while and I’m so excited to be making it happen! Starting here in Vegas, then the rest of North America! Would love to even review outside of NA one day!
Nice that you know your equipment. Hopefully you do others gyms to show case their equipment.
Appreciate it! We definitely will be.
