We had some friends over and took a few minutes to play some guitar and bass. This is part of a song I wrote many years ago. Jeff laid down a smooth groove and Paul brought a great feel and some harmony. These guys changed the feel and did it in a good way! Wish we had more time, thanks fellas!

Are you plugged straight in or using a boost?
That was straight in with just a single cable. Honestly, it sounds better with the presence turned down, this was cranked.
What's better the SL67mk2 or the Friedman Plex? I'm torn between those two right now

Thanks back atcha, Dave’s NAMM settings. Treble 8, everything else 10, v1cap to the right No v2. I prefer running presence lower At 5 or 6, recording this weekend with presence lower.

Actually, I just got this guitar, it’s my second Andy Wood and I’m stoked with it. That said, I’ve certainly spent time whammy slapping several sticks of wood! (But only my own) 🥳. Thanks for hanging out 🤙🏼
Are you using a power station fx loop(?) how are adding digital delay to fx to the Amp?
No, I’d love to try that. This delay is coming out of studio one. I used the ox to capture the signal, but did not use the onboard effects of the ox
How to set up the friedman irx to fm3(fx only) and output to interface?
You can probably do 4 cable method, but all I did is run the Friedman directly into a fractal and I use the fractal for delay and reverb. In - delay - reverb - out

Bro how is the user interface on the Fm9?? Easier than the previous models?
I think it’s easy to navigate. That said I have the AxeIII hooked up to a computer which makes things extremely easy. My intent for the FM 9 is to keep it off the computer and just play rather than tweak all the time! Stock presets are better than ever. I will hook it up periodically to update firmware and transfer personal presets to it, so far I haven’t bothered.
@@CoreyJamesGuitars I have only tried the Axe Fx II, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Better amp models than my Helix and the Tone feel was a lot lot better in it.
the Friedman ASC-12's sound way better at 8 or above. I use 2 of them and below 8 they sound too muddy. Just an FYI. Took me a while to figure that out because there are not much information about it out there but a Friend of mine on the fractal forum has the same set up and that's what he told me to do.
Need another Friedman. Nothing beats a stereo axfx rig!

Sounds great! I have an FM9 in transit to me and currently own a Friedman ASC10.
I wonder if the ASC 10 with the 12 would sound good in stereo or if it would be a mismatch❓

I have the AX8 with ASC 12. I play with IEM at casinos, it’s a killer rig. It’s all about the IR’s.
Which IRs could you recommend for the FM3? I'm a beginner at all things Fractal Audio. I'm currently using one of the stock IRs. (single 12" if I remember correctly)
@@galgogergo I bought the suhr pack and really like their pack. ML makes really nice packs, I have a few of his as well. I haven’t tried much else but there are a lot of people doing good work out there.
