The Tri-County Women Veterans celebrated their 25th anniversary on June 12, 2024 at Belle Glade Country Club.

I attended this event on December 8, 2023. As usual, it was a terrific show that encompassed 5 very large rooms. It's amazing that The Villages Model Train Club, aka The Villages Model Railroad Club, is able to setup this huge event in so little time. There are so many interesting things to see and enjoy.

Quilts of Valor and Ruptured Duck buttons were presented to World War II veterans in a ceremony at Mission BBQ in Lady Lake, Florida. The quilts were provided by members of the Khaki Quilters chapter of The Quilting Guild of The Villages and by the Sewing Studio Patriotic Group.

I video recorded today’s presentation by Cheryl Williams (Puppy raiser and speaker for New Horizons Service Dogs) and “Buzz”. The video is about 32 minutes long. Cheryl and Buzz’s demonstration starts at about the 20 minute mark.

The Giraffe Ranch is located in Dade City, Florida. We went on the November 17th, 2023 2pm Giraffe Ranch Custom Safari Tour. I made this video using my new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The entire video was shot in UHD 4K at 30fps. My S23 Ultra was mounted on a DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal. Unfortunately, I used the wrong gimbal setting during the walking clips so there the video is not as steady as it should be. This was a learning experience.

This video contains scenes that I captured with my new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Most of the scenes are in 4K 30fps and a couple are in 4K 60fps.

My late Uncle, Jay Wingate, was an Army Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers during WWII.
