Some footage from a Sunday morning bash with AZBashers. I got to the watering hole a bit early and used up most of my battery before everyone showed up. This is an awesome bash spot though, and I'll be back!

The reason I built my festiva
Very nice
Love tire and wheel what size are they and what's under the hood???
Felipe, Those wheels are 13x7 Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2. They are made to order from Team Dynamics in England. The tires were Toyo Proxes R888. This Festiva has a stock B6t engine from a Mercury Capri xr2, as well as the Capri transmission and axles. This car passed CARB certification on its first try after the swap and is 50 state legal for the street.
@@PerformanceFestiva Have you tried to fit 200tw 15" tires?
@@cafemotorsports the tires on the car in this video are 100tw tires. I do have 15" slicks on the front of my current Festiva race car.
Imagine this was post in 2002 not 2012 there will be more Festivas I wonder how many now in 2022
Any chance you sell the vw coilovers already modified? I’m looking to build a festiva endurance car.
I don't. There may be a bolt on option in the future though.
@@PerformanceFestiva is it top secret or can you let us know who is going to make them?
There has been discussion with several companies. Fortune Auto will be making a set for my car and might produce a low volume kit for sale.
Great video with great jumps
Mesa area here if yall want to bash
Where are these spots if you don’t mind I been looking for some great spots for my krayton and x maxx
The Watering Hole in Scottsdale and the bike jumps @Papago Park.
i gotta hand it to you, that's a magical ride!!...
this is some of the best ford racing i have seen lately..
Thanks! The Festiva has been off the track for about a year getting a full redesign. I was running about 165hp in these videos, but now will have over 400hp on tap, with a more usable TQ curve and full slicks. Subscribe and stay tuned for even more Festiva domination.
Hello, i have been following your threads on the festiva forums. And i have basically duplicated your setup in hopes of getting on track next year. What size tire do you recommend am planning to run nankang ar1. Am between 175/50/13 or 185/60/13.
185/60-13 works very well. You'll need to roll and stretch the rear fenders quite a bit to get them to fit. I run that size on 13x7 wheels.
@@PerformanceFestiva thank you so much.
Hi, Very grateful for. My both 4 cell new batteries got busted in 120 degree, are you experiencing the same?
Are you running stock suspension? I have a 1988 ford festiva with a blown headgaskit lol but we want to make it a rally/race festiva and are you running the stock engine and how much hp are you pulling out of it?
No, neither are stock. In this video I am running a 180hp B6t engine from a mercury capri XR2. The suspension is custom coilovers. You can find more tips about suspension tuning on WWW.fordfestiva.com
Do you know buy any chance know, what if any performance mods that Z06 was running?
Nice driving with Festiva
Where's is this location at?
Off North Scottsdale Rd, about a mile north of the 101.
Nice video man i live out in Apache Junction i just joined the group. I also started a RUclips 4 months ago. I subscribed to yours. You should check out mine sometime
Thanks Adam! I subscribed and I'll be watching for that 100 sub giveaway. I love my Dumborc radio and could always use another.
Can anyone tell me where can i find a sequential gearbox for Ford Festiva 1990?
Yeah brother! Nice one!!! We gots many more coming ✌✌
Yeah brother 🤟 Awesome footage!!
Thanks man! Great driving!
it takes balls of steel to go that fast with no rollcage
Meh, it's safer than driving normal speeds on the street every day.
I've been doing this for 20+ years and have yet to see a serious injury. Roll cage doesn't equal safety, only the illusion of safety. Lighter cars are safer than heavy cars. They are easier to control and the stop faster when out of control. Roll cages not only add weight, they Also disable the crumple zones of the vehicle and limit it's ability to absorb impact and keep the driver save in a collision. This type of driving is done on a closed course with impact absorbing barriers, as well as a full safety crew on hand. Compare that to a drive to work at 65mph on an undivided highway with semi trucks going the opposite direction inches away. Track driving is way safer than a daily commute.
Nice brother🤘
I'm happy to see this video and racing festiva. I ride KIA Pride for circuit and Gymkhana racing in South Korea.
Dude's line was not very good.
Why did you put a hillbilly ding dong “I’ma fuck my cousin” song
Grande el Ford Festiva!!!
ruclips.net/video/-V_X9kaup98/видео.html
It's a fooooord it's a festiva
Is this Bondurant off the I-10?
Yes. Wildhorse Pass Raceway
If you were behind someone who consistently ran 1.99 or faster you would also run a 1.99 or faster! The fester has it in its bones
Amazing the Federal 595 RS R's will hold on quietly till 1.4 lateral G. Exceptional chassis setup. Cried when the 'Vett driver, apparently distracted by your closing rate, forgot to turn and left the track!
This is full of awesomeness, excited for the finished settings so I can put them to the test myself. Thanks Charlie! P.S. was that a yellow Datsun 510 at 4:50? Those are awesome cars too!
Nice bit of driving. I like the telemetry of your new unit. What do you need to get acceleration data?
SO adorable Char!
nice video ...what rims are those?
This honestly sounds so cool , I have a 93 festiva L but it's all stock . Does anyone know any good places to buy fenders spoilers and replacement pieces ??
9:25 for busy people. That looked like a spooky one. Remember, when in doubt, power out!
Nice cars i used to have a MK1 GTi but my turbo 121 is way faster.
Anyone thought about a Tesla swap into one of these with a custom floor so battery packs can be added without losing too much floorspace? Just get g series LSD transmission and conversion plate.. add Tesla magic and you're good. Even wire in Tesla charging plug and you're golden.. Lastly, autonomous driving with converting a brake swap setup from an Avella or Aspire using ABS and cruise control.. Also finding two rear hubs used for regenerative braking and you got yourself a decent little budget EV.
Can you tell me your setup or a build page
5:24 what is that 🤩🤤
What’s the setup on the white one with mellow yellow rims? All details please
This car sounds like it has a BOV.... I thought you prefered an internal wastegate that is stock in the B6T...?
Wastegates and BOV are different things.
Is that the top of the XR2 instrument cluster I see in the reflection?
Evil Actually NA Miata, very similar.
This video just makes me so happy.
i probably re-watched the last bit at least 10 times, trying to figure out what could've happened as i am sure you did. every other lap you shifted into 3rd much sooner, i think the delayed shift caused a major shift in expected load transitioning and also may have broken traction easier when the clutch was released because you had already begun turning the corner. a scary moment indeed! was there any damage to the suspension or wheel bearings?
love that getto intercooler!
good dirt car?
HAHA no, this car weighs nothing. You’ll get knocked around by the wind
Surprisingly yes. If you're skilled. 1700 lbs is pretty heavy but if you're careful and drive good you can slide around on gravel NP
