I refuse to believe you’ve seen that happen.
Hi Nicole, Is the two piece nose cone open on the end to allow weight to be added easily, if need be? If so, should I build the rocket first and test it for stability, add weight if necessary and then glue the end on the nose cone? Thanks, I enjoyed your video presentation of the Wizard and the way you explain the steps for a successful build. Hope to see you again, soon! 🚀 : )
I love how clear and fun these videos from Estes are. Nicole, I'd love to have you on The Model Rocket Show podcast some time.
Oooooo, and WHY are ESTES "shockcords" to SHORT and rubber! 😱🤮🙃
Ok, what i am seeing here is a rebuttal to when a woman says I can't do that I might break my nails! 😱😁😝🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
I see you looking at that Rocket with lust in your eyes!
Great information. Thank you Estes for all you do. Cheers from Canada !
Very good instructions. Well done!
Excellent series; a nice refresher on building & preparing a model rocket (I’ve got one ready for final painting!), I learned a several tips/techniques.
Excellent! I noticed the wide green engine mount tube; it gives lots of contact area for glue adhesion, (as opposed to using two thin spacer rings to install the engine tube).
Very well done. I can visualize using this video series to help teach a construction class in model rocketry.
Can you tell me about the Delay mix?
Cool 👍 😎
this is very helpful
wow thanks
What if the bowl you dropped the ball in was full of water? Hey Estes, bring back the Pershing rocket kit..👈👈👈
What is up with your EYES, ... do you got wandering eye syndrome?! 😱😁🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
Awesome. Thank you
I still got my original Estes Alpha and Launch Kit in 1974! Still have them and they still work! 😱😁🤪👍👍🇺🇸
I’m doing this but with a 20 centimeter long steel motor casing with a nozzle that I welded to the bottom, I’m afraid when my file ignites in the engine and creates pressure it will push the ejection charge out of the casing and explode the rocket, I hope it works though since it’s my first try
The next time you make a video and goddamn parachutes, make it about parachutes
Haha😂 Yeah right🤨👍 Video description: "How to fold a parachute". In the video: Not a single example on how to fold a parachute. Only a bunch of "useless" background information about parachutes.
Wwwwwwhaaaaaat! 😱😝🤪🤣😁👍👍🇺🇲
Nice!
“Chute Powder” was popular in 70s when I was flying. (Baby and talcum powder cheaper). Not only did it help with chute deployment, with high altitude’s, you had a nice puff of💨 to help locate your kit in the sky. (Lost too many of them) 😉
Is there someone to reach out to at Estes for schoolSTEM events? If so can you provide a link ? This is a govt run program. (Lot of volunteer work and $$ on my part but don’t mind.
I’m prepping for a middle b high school cyber summer camp and am pushing to use “real rockets” vice the water bottle. I haven’t flown in years but was an advanced model rocketeer in my days. Looking forward to getting back into it and will be 1st time leading a group of kids with these types of kits. You provided some good pointers to create my safety plan. Well done video for new teachers or older like me to plan First step is getting the ok. If ALL SYSTEMS GO”. Commence ordering kits for low level flights (Gotta bring my Saturn V for grand finale 😉 Will check out the links. Biggest hurdle will be “blessings” from the school to use these over water bottle. Kids had a blast last year. Water and tape and plastic don’t fare well 🤓. Got to keep the kids STEM focused. 👍
Can you shout me out
can you do an example of how to fold an example a 24inch parachute
we can definitely add it to our list. thanks for the suggestion!
Do a search for some older Centuri or Estes kits like the Saturn Vs which I think had 24” chutes. The instructions should show you how they recommend folding that size. This is pretty similar to what I recall doing. ruclips.net/video/YWxmotv9kIU/видео.html. And I used “snap swivels” (like for fishing) to help avoid tangled lines from chutes spinning.
Very interesting video
thank you!
Amazing teachers! Amazing School! Amazing STUDENTS!!! Many-many huge bravos!!!!
we think so too! thanks :)
Model Rocketry is a great project for STEM activities. Excite their minds in creative ways. As a STEM mentor, I’m more into the IT side, but we are ¯\◔ー◔/¯ now at adding model rocketry to our summer Cyber Camp. Hopefully, I can lead it. Been decades since I played with my favorite hobby of all. model 🚀. Keep at it. Great age group to work with. I learn as much from them as they do from me. 😉
We are so happy to hear you are adding a rocketry program to your camp! Tag us on facebook/instagram to share more on how it goes!!
@@esteseducation I think my work has a a Facebook page where STEM is followed. and on Linkedin. I am not on FB due to what my job is and i avoid the sites. will keep ya posted. Miss my Centuri Rockets, and at least i know the story. Now if i can find some of them older classics like Titan II 2 engine. oh \(^-^)/. Blessings and keep up the good work. These STEM kids have major potential to be our next breakthrough scientist, programmer, doctor, etc. And my old Commanding Officer got me VIP seats to one of the last shuttle launches. DREAMS can come through.
STEM Rocks. Keep up the good work.
we think so too!
This so helpful because i'm building one right now.Thank you
We are happy this helped you out!
Awesome presentation 👏
thanks so much!
Love it...informative, yet entertaining!!
