Praise God for you guys. I've been following Brady for a while now and am truly blessed with his videos. Although I live in the Philippines serving a super small church, it does mean kinda tweaking the tips and trends to cater to our church but it does make me put into perspective on what works and what doesn't in our church. Start a local House Church!

Watching this video has shown me how clueless the Christian Church has become.

So good! I grew up in the apartment complex across the street from the Lake Forest Campus and started attending Saddleback in 2000. Now, I live in Southern Oregon and attend/work at a local church. It was so fun to hear some familiar places mentioned (feeling nostalgia, fo sho!), and I look forward to sharing what I've learned here at my church! 🤗

As someone who can't travel on Sunday, due to health and transport issues, online church is very useful... especially as I can 'attend' churches that I would not normally have considered, due to being not part of their strand of Christianity, or churches in their part of the world. I still haven't found an online community to be a part of yet... one day! 🙂

Sicko here, lol This is so helpful- I often feel if I had more "creative" chops this would be easier. Not so. Also thanks for the info re AI sided sermon clips. In the few times I have tried different tools it just never hits my "sweet" spot of what the sermon points are. And they don't pick up the unique preaching style of each of our pastors so it cuts off a sentence before or a sentence after.

how can i access the lightroom preset to use

Our current savings since we started asking for a discounts at the church I work at is over $10k. Adobe alone was huge.

We just left clickup for notion. Literally every major project management platform decided to charge full price for the ability to let guest to comment on tasks. My rep called me and told me our bill would go from $1,500 a year to $6000.

As for your last point, it sounds as though churches should be looking for social media engineers more than creatives. 🤓 Engineers are perfectly adept at the three things it seems are required; proficient using of digital tools, highly acute attention to detail, and repetitious duplication of effort.

The convo about excellence is great. 80% but done in 2 hours is better than 100% done in 2 days. Especially if that last 20% doesn’t matter to anyone else other than us

Thanks for sharing your wisdom. Question about your last point about doing videos well… obviously time is a big factor. Is it better to do something (even if it’s not the best it can be and AI compiled) rather than doing nothing?

Affinity is free for non-profit, schools etc. it does lack some of the newest Adobe features, but it is identical to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Excellent software for a quarter of the price.

FreeShow is unbelievable as a presentation software.

Why not Bitwarden for password protection and generation? I have used the free version of Bitwarden ever since LastPass increased costs and limited the function of their free version years ago.Also, you don't recommend Later for managing social media? For small churches it is quite sufficient at the free level.

Canva acquired Affinity so non-profits now get the Affinity suite for free as well!
