Keep in mind that JJP Vocals doesn't actually have reverb built into it. Jack Joseph Puig gives an overview on the Waves website where he makes it quite clear that his goal was to give polish to the vocal BEFORE reverb is considered. The idea is that Reverb is a mirror of whatever you put into it, so it's important to get the vocal nice and solid before adding verb/delay. This is different than the approach Chris Lord-Alge took with developing his plugins, which do include delay and reverb in the signal chain. Just wanted to mention this since it's hard to do an apples-to-apples comparison if you're allowing the reverb and delay to be used on the other plugins. That said, the preset you picked and liked for CLA (Play by Play) had Reverb, Delay & Pitch disabled by default. So that preset is at least comparable (before you reintroduced verb/delay, that is). JJP allows more tuning of the dry vocal, but keeps verb/delay out of it whereas CLA narrows down the options a bit more, but gives more of the all-in-one option of including verb/delay. So the need depends greatly on your preferred approach - not just the quality of the plugin itself. You have a lovely voice btw. Thanks for this video overview of the plugins - good stuff!

I have worked with Beatstars for 2 years. It really is about promoting within the marketplace. Driving from outside to the marketplace is important. I have had only a handful of sales but no promo. Im about to invest in promo so will hopefully find some sales.

I just made the switch to the pro page yesterday after years. Only after setting up an "API" for BeatStars to sell merch. I found out that Printful doesn't even use APIs anymore. Yet, BS's still sells you the upgrade price and the features don't even fully work. Why have a merch area if you cannot connect merch? Mind you the article is 2yrs old as of today..... So just be mindful if you get the pro page. You might have features that are completely useless and won't know until AFTER payment smh

I’ve been using Airbit since summer 2022 and so far I’ve made 450.00. Which is not bad to date but, I’ve also seen no leases for 2023 either. My profile is just dead. Not sure on what happened. But I have at least 40 beats uploaded. Anyway, I’ll try beatstars by this June and see what comes from them. Thanks for the video bro! 👊🏾

Soundee is pretty much useless if you write indie/alternative music. Seems to specialise in Rap/Trap.

Thank you Joe for your content, you are very helpful for the producer community. For me, with the limited time that I have it seems to be such a pain to move to sounded and to build up my community almost from scratch there but at the same time Beatstars analytics are really old fashioned. So at the moment I stick to my youtube analytics and hope for the best by trying to upload as much as you can. Really enjoy your content man! Keep up the good work! Could you maybe make a video (maybe you have one already and I just have missed it) where you talk about the "trending" keywords or search terms for your beats? Meaning - how do you exactly decide how you name your beats on youtube, beatstars on the day you upload it? Are there any specific techniques you use?
