hi my one painting red rest of photos instead of cracks what is wrong
Great to learn how to make a gif but I still think that numbering the layers the way you have makes no sense, to me anyway. However, I'm sure that once I've tried making one myself that will become abundantly clear. It really is a shame that you had to stop working on this Bit's and Bobs channel mate, it's helped me a lot and I'm sure others found it helpful too.
Cant do the inner Shadow trick
Needed to learn this effect for an idea I had for my final project. The assignment is a movie poster. The cracks make it look SO good! Thank you so much! <3
One trick you could use when framing the cracks onto the road is to use the mirror function. Cctrl+J to copy then mirror it over the vertical line.

Thank you for this video mate.... I used it to help with making a cracked gear so i could fit in a powder explosion through it. I haven't done the powder yet but because of this video it should help me make the final thing sick af and it'll be my discord icon which is really important to me so again.... Awesome technique Stephen! I quite like the explanation you provided along the way, like matching the shadow to the perspective using the road and the shadow layer looking like a sheet of glass, super helpful!
hey, back then i saw something cool, where the man with bicycle on the mountain, and someone change the mountain with lava texture, its just look so real, like the shape of rock, the dirt change to lava crack etc etc, can you make the tutorial? that would be cool

Wonderfully done! Had fun watching this and learned some new things. It was very interesting how this was accomplished. The way you colored in the shadow and attenuated the effect with a gradient, masking, opacity and other adjustments was educational to watch. So much can be done with the tools of Photoshop.
