We thought we DID program it where player 2 takes control during the part where you run away, but it doesn't work for some reason. We're updating this in the full game and updated demo on launch.

Is it possible to play coop online? I recently saw xQc play a Mario Kart like game mode and I'm interested in trying to play with my partner online

The weird thig is my wife and i experienced stuttering when trying to co op even when i purchased a g-portal server is was unplayable but solo were fine.
That’s odd. The PS5 version has been a pretty smooth experience for us. No issues playing in co-op even after dozens of hours. Hopefully your issues get worked out!

On PS5, if you are not the host, you won’t be able to play on the private server unless the host is also playing?
That’s correct. If the host isn’t on, then you won’t be able to join the server.

I just tried on the Xbox one and was unable to connect 2nd controller. It didn’t give me an option to add a 2nd player even after smashing all the button combinations I could think of. Please help. Do I need to have two gamer tags or can one be a guest? Or…? I need help

Do you need ps plus on both accounts?
The store page says both do, but if your co-op partner is playing on your primary PS5 and you have PS Plus, then you can play with just one subscription!
Nothing happens when I press the “Invite” button. Is there anything else I should have done? 😢 Edit: Nevermind, it might’ve been a psn or ps5 issue, solved as soon as I restarted the console 👍

PSA: If you select Open for your session privacy, make sure to disable PVP in the advanced game options. Otherwise, this co-op game will turn into a PvP one!

No need to buy two copies, one is sufficient for couch co-op!
