No, this level of play is not boring. And the refs are not in the Chiefs pocket. Give me a break with that nonsense. I've seen phantom holds and dpi against the chiefs while Chris Jones gets held on almost every play even being drug down by his face mask in front of the ref and NOTHING gets called.
I don’t even disagree with the calls! It’s just all baked in on how you know the chiefs are going to win every game. They are inevitable. They are great. We are watching greatness! I do kinda miss having some mystery around what will happen.
@@GarbageTimeSports As a life long chiefs fan I have spent 30 years watching them not get to the play offs. Frustration was built in. I can tell you that I have no sense of inevitibilty watching them almost lose down by a score or two in the last 4 minutes of the game... I'm on the edge of my seat.

I stopped watching when you said "they've got the referees in the back pocket". Even though you had a great argument at the beginning.
@@mansimen lol I don’t even disagree with the calls most of the time, it’s just amazing how many of their games come down to a HUGE call in a big spot late in games. It’s all baked in together when I’m watching them thinking it’s inevitable that they’ll win the game.

As long as Winning at the end, it is never boring to watch. But the first 4 matches were pretty stressful for us as Chiefs fans
The guy on the left just keeps on and on with inaccuracies.
The same was said about the Pats. Who always just played for the W, never ran the score when running the clock worked instead and that is/was the issue. The Pats educated the viewers on what greatness looked like: Competent QB, Top notch coaching, stable front office, take advantage of the week division opponents, split the series with the other top teams, make the playoffs, turn it up a notch after each round, be used to the tougher rounds, and treat them as normal but with urgency while opponents wither at the strain.

Stroud is right behind Mahomes to me. I crowned him last season. He has an aura around him that many QBs don’t have.
I got him at 5 right now but I don’t hate having him all the way up at 2. Let’s see what happens on the playoffs this year.

This is more on O'Connell than Darnold. O'Connell did this with Cousins, before the injury; Josh Dobbs, and even Nick Mullens avg 368 yds the last 4 games of 2023. I know this might shock some reading but I personally think the only way you give Darnold a new contract is if he wins a SB, because the stats don't lie that O'Connell can do this with any QB not named Jaren Hall. Especially since McCarthy is younger, and faster with his feet than Darnold. I get it he doesn't have the experience, but if you sign Darnold just bc he gets us to the playoffs you are literally playing the Cousins card again, just enough to extend then he has an average year/s and you wasted money and development time on your first round pick of JJ McCarthy. Let Darnold get us to the playoffs and if we don't make SB let him take his money from a team like Las Vegas or New Orleans, and we can grow with JJ even if year one isn't a playoff year. Just my opinion but that's why I'm a fan and not in charge of running a team!

Credit does need to be given to Vandy though. I know they are not a power house but as one of the teams on the bottom of the totem pole, beating the number 1 team shows how stiff the competition is in the SEC. It is BY FAR the toughest conference
SEC has been living off of the top of the conference. No one ever talks about Vandy when discussing the gauntlet. Yes they played well, but it’s embarrassing for Bama
A&M was projected to be a high roller this season and got off to a tough start but watching this game I think they were just not healthy. This team is a problem. Great defense and this QB is destined for the NFL I think
QB played great but no one was thinking A&M was legit after week 1. Not like a bunch of people had them in the playoff. (Although we did…)
Sam is right. The pitching is good but not great. They are missing some serious arms right now and this San Diego team is full strength and as hot as can be right now. Still think the Dodgers take this though. As beat up as their rotation is its still good enough to keep games in reach and let that offense COOK. Tough take IMO
I trust that Sam watches baseball and I actually trust that he is incredibly knowledgeable about it. He speaks with a confidence in his voice like everything he knows he knows off the top of his head but I really don't know if Joe watches the games. I think a football guy and a baseball guy started a company and there isn't a ton of crossover from the other guy into his partner's sport. I guess they're good with NFL but I've never seen Sam talk college football.

@@GarbageTimeSports I can tell. He is pretty good. I feel like he does everything off the top of his head though. If he had stats or notes I think he could honestly be one of the better baseball guys in the industry. If I can offer any advice, figuring out what he is going to say before hand would really really put this stuff over the top.

this is the natural evolution of a successful team/athlete.. people get sick of seeing the same guys win constantly.. KC fans are enjoying this run while they can, but it won't last forever.. it's pretty normal in all sports tbh

Dude says "Geno Smith is servicable enough". Dude hasn't watched any Hawks games in the last 3 years. This kind of statement is ignorance at it's highest form. We traded a 10x pro bowl, super bowl winning QB off and didn't even draft a QB with any of the picks. Think hard on who had already won the job. The "Big" game for the Hawks is next TNF vs SF. If they win, we will probably see a Detroit/Seattle rematch in the playoffs.
Idk what to do with Seattle after today. And beating a 2-3 SF team won’t exactly get me excited about them either.

Only way Sam stays is if he gets to the Super Bowl. That is it, O'Connell will make JJ just as good on a cheaper contract and can go get even better Defensive players next year. Vikes will be in the top ten with Salary cap space after this year. I do wish they give up next years first round pick to get Dexter Lawrence. Go get that one player that will be over the top and finally get your Super Bowl. If that were to happen and Vikings do win a Super Bowl per se, no one would even care about them first round picks at that point.

If you look at Minnesota's backup QB, Nick Mullens, Kevin O'Connell got him to throw over 400 passing yards. Everybody knew that Sam Darnold was supposed to be a lot better than a backup QB. Very first days of Training Camp, Darnold was throwing multiple "wow" passes, frozen ropes all over the field, right on target and in stride. He has continued to do that for four games now. Will he suddenly forget what KOC has been telling him? Unlikely.

If Darnold takes the Vikings to the playoffs and they win a game or two. Or lose a very close game no fault of Sam. I think they should offer him a 2 year deal with a 3rd year option for about 30M a year, 50M guaranteed. There is a good chance Sam wouldn't leave for a better offer unless that teams coach and system are a good fit for him. He's been down the road of playing for teams with poor coaching and less talent to support him. If we are winning who cares if JJ sits a couple years? I don't.
