It's great that Life Be In It concept is still alive after some 37 years and I still really enjoy the ads as well. But why is it based only in SA now?! Shouldn't it based all over Australia?! Still happy that it's around.

My father Ted White is the saxophonist behind this ad. I remember being in the studio with him when it was recorded and as I was only 3 or 4 years old I’m assuming it would have been around 1976 or ‘77

Seriously people: if you can walk, do so. It shocked the world to learn about Christopher Reeve's horse riding accident, can you imagine what that have been like for him? Walk, and take a moment to appreciate the fact that you're able to.

I remember Norm from my childhood , now it scares me that I'm becoming like him.

You guys really should show the new 2023 version here!!!! Of all places here. The ad should be more promoted here!!!!!

They have a new " Life. Be in it" ad for 2023!!! I briefly saw it and I thought it was actually well done! It's abit more inclusive with more of a cultural status and the lack Norm sucks, but it's great and I'm thankful to see something retro Aussie back when it's SO hard to find nowadays......

They would never show a psa like this these days. Now the message is "stay at home, watch the latest up to the minute anxiety and immune system debilitating and fear inducing anti socialising statistics and gently panic yourself into subservience to the latest government 'health' advice from the unnamed 'experts'". Such a shame.

I loved these PSAs when I was a child. It did really get me out there, walking.

Don't worry Norm, you can walk to TAB to gamble your life away. How convenient!! Kinda wish the exercise message wasn't laced with gambling.

Aside from this ad coming from a station here in the US, I did notice a few more of these PSA's that ended with a Washington, DC address to write to for a pamphlet specifically for the "Life. I've been trying to find a Life. Be In It commercial that began with the lines: "Rover appreciates a walk around the block, Time for a picnic in the park. Go for a row, Have a throw, Or go to a show (I think that's the line) Be In It, today! Live more of your life!" So far, I have been unsuccessful.
