It is very impressive if you look at what is happening in Indonesia as a conservation implementation. The nature of natural resources which are public goods then gives rise to externalities which result in over consumption and over extraction of natural resources and the environment cannot be controlledDeny that what has happened has been hampered by deforestation, that's why miningNatural resources are the key axis for clear economic development. Institutional issues in portfolio or non-portfolio government also require investors with regular and efficient regional supervision and concessions. An example of this will occur in Indonesia, such as moving the capitalcountries from Jakarta to East Kalimantan.,

46 climate scientists formerly with the IPCC .. now speaking against. climatism.blog/2020/03/07/46-statements-by-ipcc-experts-against-the-ipcc/ Note how many former IPCC scientists say that their science is distorted for political reasons. Sometimes .. literally opposite scientific conclusions are reached (sea rise). Bottom line … govts want to tax license and regulate man. To do this … they must assert man is the problem. If man is not .. no taxes and licenses and regulations and money for govt. . What do IPCC scientists say in opposition to IPCC? Global warming? Nope. Ground based sensor network biased upward. Satellite data is clearly better yet ignored. In fact .. we have had global cooling for last 20 years. (perhaps that is why "global warming" became 'climate change' ... which has made people equate something that is normal ... the climate is always changing in short and long cycles .. as something unnatural and man made ... ) CO2 linked to global warming? Nope. Seas flooding islands? Not like they say. Weather more severe than before? Nope All of these claims are refuted with convincing data. Each scientist's credentials and contributing papers are linked. Read a few ... The scientists have no interest in saying these things … quite the opposite … they have likely lost their jobs in standing out. Earth is a self cleansing machine. It'll be here long after we are gone. George Carlin on the environment … funny and informative. ruclips.net/video/EjmtSkl53h4/видео.html Young people are being led by hysterical and unscientific voices which are manipulating them in the name of good (protecting the environment) but the picture they have been sold is simply untrue and is painted for political reasons. So .. believe 46 former IPCC scientists … or a grimacing teenage hand puppet with no scientific degrees or college education. The money we save can feed the hungry, help pregnant moms get prenatal care, provide veterans and elderly with real medical services for low cost Lots of things more worthy than non-science.

BONNIE FAULKNER: Why has World Bank policy since its inception been to provide loans for countries to devote their land to export crops instead of giving priority to feeding themselves? And if this is the case, why do countries want these loans? MICHAEL HUDSON: One constant of American foreign policy is to make other countries dependent on American grain exports and food exports. The aim is to buttress America’s agricultural trade surplus. So the first thing that the World Bank has done is not to make any domestic currency loans to help food producers. Its lending has steered client countries to produce tropical export crops, mainly plantation crops that cannot be grown in the United States. Focusing on export crops leads client countries to become dependent on American farmers - and political sanctions. In the 1950s, right after the Chinese revolution, the United States tried to prevent China from succeeding by imposing grain export controls to starve China into submission by putting sanctions on exports. Canada was the country that broke these export controls and helped feed China. The idea is that if you can make other countries export plantation crops, the oversupply will drive down prices for cocoa and other tropical products, and they won’t feed themselves. So instead of backing family farms like the American agricultural policy does, the World Bank backed plantation agriculture. In Chile, which has the highest natural supply of fertilizer in the world from its guano deposits, exports guano instead of using it domestically. It also has the most unequal land distribution, blocking it from growing its own grain or food crops. It’s completely dependent on the United States for this, and it pays by exporting copper, guano and other natural resources. The idea is to create interdependency - one-sided dependency on the U.S. economy. The United States has always aimed at being self-sufficient in its own essentials, so that no other country can pull the plug on our economy and say, “We’re going to starve you by not feeding you.” Americans can feed themselves. Other countries can’t say, “We’re going to let you freeze in the dark by not sending you oil,” because America’s independent in energy. But America can use the oil control to make other countries freeze in the dark, and it can starve other countries by food-export sanctions. So the idea is to give the United States control of the key interconnections of other economies, without letting any country control something that is vital to the working of the American economy. There’s a double standard here. The United States tells other countries: “Don’t do as we do. Do as we say.” The only way it can enforce this is by interfering in the politics of these countries, as it has interfered in Latin America, always pushing the right wing. For instance, when Hillary’s State Department overthrew the Honduras reformer who wanted to undertake land reform and feed the Hondurans, she said: “This person has to go.” That’s why there are so many Hondurans trying to get into the United States now, because they can’t live in their own country. www.unz.com/mhudson/the-world-bank-and-imf-2019/

Friends, If you see where he is headed you certainly appreciate Raj's promoting agro-ecology and blending farmers in rural areas with eaters in cities. I liked his pointing up how Brazil is incentivizing this and the kids in schools are getting to know their farmers and how their food is grown with more soil care (agro-ecology tenet) and less chemicals. This is decentralization (in this case of food production) as prophesied my the Master Djwhal Khul of Tibet long ago. Rooftop gardening got a plug from Raj which is very positive for those in cities. They don't have the land space of those in the country but are in a sense, achieving elements of independence from food's traveling from afar via distributors. everybody needs to learn to grow a few things to eat for themselves, learn to sprout seeds, grow microgreens indoors. I aim to get those into my own lifestyle. Raj is an excellent nutrition advisor with a lot of heart. He makes points directly and subtly which connote an understanding of the issues surrounding food and its supplies around the world, as well as an empathy with "being in the modern world" which is where most of us are. We need to make good food choices, to be practical as we improve our diets. We need to help others in third world countries to nourish their soil, eat lower on the food chain (plants). We need to help everyone everywhere get clean water to drink, grow their own foods and interdepend in their own communities. Raj's accepting everybody's bodies as they are (large or small or in between) shows breadth of vision. At the same time as we learn and teach better health we love and accept each other, for each has an unique background. Love to Raj from us all.
