You were excited to finish playing Kingdom hearts 2 after eating a bagel with cream cheese and drinking orange juice watching your fave cartoons from those times. You were 15 at the time, and the nostalgia this game brings you at 31, and realizing just how truly beautifully disorganized and cinematic KHII was, just makes you want to relive the horrible piecing of the story-line all over again!!! Trying to explain this game back in the day was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. I also remember when KHIII dropped and I was disappointed cause I beat it in 2 days flat. Meanwhile KHII took me MONTHS to beat!!! (Did anyone else try to use the fenrir key blade on sephiroth cause you couldn’t be bothered to find all the synthesis items to create the ultima weapon?” 😂😂😂

Interesting observation: Roxas reaction command is the same as the samurai nobodies. Indicating that if Roxas did not leave the organization; that would be the nobodies he would be in charge of.

Friendly reminder that, except the ending of Kingdom Hearts III, this was *the only time* Xehanort ever lost. In any other occasion, his defeat simply helped his goal. But here, Lingering Will kicked his ass so hard that he forgot who he was and would take 10 years to fully recover and remember. Terra was an absolute _unit._

I've played every game in this series. The cutscene that plays after beating this boss fight is my favorite moment in the series and it's not particularly close. Roxas as a character is so F***ing well written.

Fun fact when Roxas said why did he pick you It was actually Miss translation he was actually supposed to say why did it pick you not referring to a person

Curiosity fulfilled on this little detail about Roxas but it makes sense to me. Roxas carries two keyblades which fits him well, especially if you know the whole story. In his game in DS (Which I played.) he has a reason to have those keyblades. He got his second keyblade because of Xion, carries Oathkeeper because in his journal he made the promise to reunite his friends again, and he carries Oblivion because he was forgetting Xion and was holding to her memory. Another curious data, in spanish the keyblade Oblivion was called "Recuerdos lejanos" which means "Far memories", that makes more sense for him to have Oblivion because he cherries the memories of the days when he, Axel and Xion were happy together.

Love that fans just collectively agreed to call terra "the man too angry to die". Cause that really does sum up terra's story from this moment till his return in 3.

I honestly hated that the remastered just uses roxas lines from when he was in battle rather than the original sounds where he sounded confident and serious

Tbh I think the storytelling in KH2 is pretty atrocious, but the ending hits me in all the right places emotionally. Like, to the point that it's enough to make many of my other misgivings forgivable.

I try only 2 times and done. I'm so happy
