    Hi, Jan I’m only about 45 minutes in but am already learning great information from you. The idea that adding the trans gives a nicer finish when sanding and buffing I don’t think I ever heard so thanks for that. You are always so generous with giving information in your videos.

    Oh Jan, I made a mistake in my comment earlier. I just pulled out the BlendAngles I bought on CreateAlong, which is where I also purchased your cane cradles. In my first comment I mentioned another seller of clay tools and that was totally wrong. I am sorry for any mix-up I may have caused and I did enjoy your video thoroughly.     Indeed, she has very nice things! I also ordered from her. But I live in Europe and if I order, the shipping costs more than the actual stuff 😢. It has to be shiped from Thailand, that is why. It would be wonderfully if she could open a store in Europe, than I would buy all of her stuff 😊

      @@dominiquedalemans unfortunately everything cost a fortune to ship to Europe some of that is Europe’s fault but in any case she used to live in Thailand, that’s why she shipped from there now she lives in Canada so you can order from the website, but I don’t know if that’s much more help. it cost a fortune to ship within Europe to other European countries and from there to here also, but if he ever has a friend visiting from Canada have them order it and bring it to you, i’m it’s still a mystery to most people why China can ship things from China to the US for 30 and $.40 in bulk but we can’t do that for other countries all that cheap TEMU stuff the shipping is almost nothing

      Great idea! are there any in particular in the video that you want to learn because they’re all basically the same if you look at the part of the video where I have the different striped sheets of clay you can pretty much tell from the colors of clay. I use how I lined up the clay and for such a small item as earrings you just want to use thin strips of clay of each color and then blend them a little bit, for most people the colors will overlap and blend nicely just because of how handmade works. Just remember, don’t put two colors next to each other that will make a muddy color , like orange, which is red and yellow next to purple, which has blue in it when mix will make a brown muddy color , Stay in the order of the color wheel. Or put white or pearl between colors that you don’t want to overlap.

      @@janmontarsi.-blendangles7960 I was refering to the kaleidoscope canes which come into view at around 1:25:38 the part that begins with Cane Slice EArrings- I really love those canes that you are slicing from. I think they are kaleidoscope canes. I wondered if you might teach us how to make those canes: the one with blues and greens and whites. Just love that cane...I was just wondering about that. I love the striped cane system...and yes, definitely important to put the right colors side by side. Thanky you again so very much for your generous shares and teaching. Loving it.

      @@user-pe8cu1vs6d that is a class that I teach right now in person only at Polymer Clay retreats and workshops. It really is a 2 to 3 day workshop , if you’ve never made Kaleidoscope canes I recommend a good place to start is with Fiona Abel Smith videos while I work differently than she does to create my canes basic process steps are a great place to start aside from her designs that are also different than mine but quite beautiful

      @@carolinehatch7209 multiple furnishings at different points in the whole process actually accumulate to have a really nice surface. Releasing your paper and putting it back down or getting a new paper also helps once the clay is smooth and it’s stuck to the paper there’s tension and it really won’t do much more unless you release the paper and put it back down,burnishing a lot through the whole process

      @@joyceparkes7551 I used to have a tutorial on Sculpey but it disappeared of how to set a cabochon that’s hollow, like the one in this tutorial into a framed bezel , but somewhere over the years it disappeared so I guess at some point I will remake a video form
