Referring to similar comments, regarding other audio and/or videos ... yeah --remasters are ok , for those who have to have everything perfect [and UN-original]. Yes... this is not the best quality [from 1960s sources]; though, I do *not* mind that of this particular video in its "vintage" condition. It kind of brings back memories of past times. There are better copies that have *not* been remastered. I don't care for the digital re-dos that take the essence out of the time-honored videos... and now... we have the AI bs everywhere that "de-humanizes" certain things. Heck, I saw this reality show the other day -- been watching it for fourteen years -- and they replaced [some of the appearance & commentary from] the hostess with an AI "girl". What I can *not* stand is when someone [certain people in general -- not singling any one person out] "enhances" the freakin' audio from a 1960s performance; i.e., Remastered Audio; e.g., dolby, 5.1, etc. Leave things alone, people. Personally, I *like* to hear [Beatles, etc.] music -- as it *was*.... back then! Soooooooooooo....... thanks for posting *this* video, GeminiGirl! 👍

I get what they were going for with the final joke. But to me, it's undermined by the jerk being a buff and hot guy who only just winks at the girls. The jerk needed to be some fat slob, making kissy faces or licking his teeth or something more creepy for this to work.

As much as I admire john I believe that he was mentally unstable through much of his life and that was the root of much of his problems getting involved with Yolo was a huge mistake I don't believe it was his fault I just believe there was nothing he could do about it

Not a great film, but has more interesting moments and parts than it got credit for and it has aged in interesting ways, inc lading its underrated finale. Maybe making this was too soon or a bad idea, but it makes for an interesting companion to Russell's film of The Who's TOMMY or De Palma's PHANTOM OF THE PARADISe. And yes, it counts as a musical.

Only Ken Russell could have pulled this movie off, the Quintophonic sound was supposed to complete with new Dolby System, but it barely went beyond this film, which is long overdue for a 4K edition with new extras.

Sad what has happened over there, but George and company tried. Shot on 16mm color film, it is one of the only such films ever to get a 70mm blow-up print so they could sell more seats, raise more money and use all six tracks for the multi-channel sound.

Nice in multi-channel form too!

I'd love to see the full length version again someday! Thanks for uploading this though!
