He's promoting them well. However, I have been a CPC and I feel no difference what so ever. They don't offer high interest savings accounts (unless you have a CD account). I've never been offered any lunches, dinners, or games. I'm in CA and they haven't rolled the red carpet out at all. I was thinking about going back to my previous bank. At least money market accounts pays much better.

Moving $150k to Chase isn't best option. Today other banks pay up to 5% on saving accounts. Interest in Chase bank is a joke. I have investment account in Chase but don't use it. Prefer safety earning of 5% on saving account in different bank, over making risky 5% investing on market.

Private client advisor is useless job to be honest. I have investment in Stock market and I had never get valuable advice which would benefit me good in the end

It's useless. I've had an investment account for 15 years with them. I use to go in to meet with a private client advisor in person. Since I moved I no longer have access to that branch. So I get a call from a chase customer rep who wanted to bring to my attention I have pretty hefty advisory fees with the current portfolio allocation. He recommends I schedule a call with one of his advisors. In the interest of lowering the fees I agree to this. Their advisor calls me the next day. First he doesn't seem very friendly. Not that that matters. Some people are very to the point. But he seemed robotic. He asked me what brought me to schedule an appointment. I told him a Chase rep called me the previous day bringing to my attention the 1.4% advisory fee I was paying. I didn't particularly care to change the portfolio. I just wanted something similar with a lower advisory fee. The problem is to do that they would want to sell some key positions that would trigger a rather significant taxable event-capital gains-that I didn't want to incur. The advisor wanted to ask me questions about my goals & honestly all I wanted was to keep the portfolio as it is or to offer something equal with a lower advisory fee without exposing me to a tax event. I kind of just ended the call there. I asked him to send me some sample portfolios via email. But he said he could not do that. Look I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. These guys just want to manage more money. They're trying to get current clients to fork over more money to manage so they can charge more fees. This guy was not a local financial advisor. He was in a completely different city. By his tone I could tell I was just another call on his rolodex of prospective customers to squeeze more money out of. You are much better off managing your own portfolio. Just buy index funds. Put a portion of your funds in bonds & money market & you will be fine. These people are just salesmen. They don't care about you or what's in your long term best interest. Portfolio turnover is how they make fat commissions. It's too bad because JP Morgan is a solid company. They have some great ETF's I hold in my self managed account. But these financial advisors or private client program is all fluff.

How is all that freebies helping the customer earn more? This is just another program to make chase richer.... what you are negating to say is depositing $150,000 benefits Chase... imagine 10 people depositing that money, chase just uses it for their own investments... who is funding who here then? Am not looking for friendships in a bank, i don't even want them to be my friends I have plenty of friends...Lets not market a bogus Chase program...everything you just said is how you connected to people, nothing else... you are just encouraging supporting and funding Chase bank that's all!

Some years ago, Chase sent me a letter stating my account was going to be closed. I had never bounced a check or overdrawn my account! I was a customer since they were WAMU and Great Western Bank before that. About 35 years total. They said they didn't need to tell me the reason. I couldn't figure out why. I had to move all my auto pays and deposits and it was a total hassle! I thought I was an exemplary customer and still can't figure it out.
