I got 2x of the OTTFF 16 pcs lighting suspension cables on amazon. might be worth it to get a 3rd set if you have to suspend your lights at any point just to do every point with these and make it even

i like how loud the cold starts are, although i realized that i should have just closed the exhaust valves they were wide open that would have helped out a little bit

yes mine is xdrive, keep tire size within 1% diameter front to back and you’re chillin!

tire size calculator online, input the two sizes you’re looking to run and make sure that they’re within 1% diameter of each other! can also go on apex wheels website they do a bunch of different staggered setups and show what’s compatible

how do you like it? i ordered the same kit same turbo for my f36 xdrive on black friday.

@@matthewschaefer2678 there were some minor fitment issues like the oil drain hose was kinda short and the charge pipe is made for stock manifold with PI plate length so if you have a billet manifold the charge pipe will need to be cut shorter. Turbo sits VERY close to the strut tower. The rear watergate sits right under the downpipe so you might want to put some heat wrap on the DP and a fire sleeve on the nylon wastegate vacuum line so they don’t keep melting like mine did. Also don’t use the plastic push locks they give you on the wastage because they will melt. Had to get my own metal push locks and insulate them from the heat. I’m still working on my tune but pushing 28psi at the moment and already reaching the limits of the stock trans.

@@momusic2407 I’m running it on my stock turbo, my top mount comes in next month but it will work on either. You get what you pay for at the end of the day, the BMR catch can vents 3 different ways and has higher quality AN lines rather than the silicone so it will last longer and look better. BMR kit also comes with radium fittings which are well known in motorsports industry as the best you can get. If you’re budget minded VTT will do the job but if you can spend the extra money on the higher quality kit i’d recommend it. Might shoot them a message and see if they’re planning on doing a black friday deal!

@EthanFox Thank you for getting back to me and giving me the info on the differences. I think I will go with the BMR after your input. I am on stock turbo but I am running MHD stage 2. Also I live in Oregon it doesn't get very cold but we get freezing weather sometimes. Is there extra precautions or maintenance I should do? Thank you

@@momusic2407I would ask the owner i’m not 100% for freezing weather so i don’t feel comfortable giving you an answer on that.

Dyno tuned is best of course, but least a flash ots tune will be close!

@@EthanFox if you where stage 2+ or stage 3 youd gap a mk7 stage 2+ and barley get walked by a stage 2+ is38 if you where stage 3 but if it was a stage 2 is38 and you where stage 3 ko4 you should be the same

You not gapping a mk7 that is not stage 1 or stage 2 maybe stock. Your car can't make 300whp on stage 2 a stage 1 gti can make 280whp and it's lighter than a mk5. A stage 2 can make 300-360whp depending on what type of fuel is used.
