Using modified Klipper, TMC2209, e3d high torque steppers running at 1.4A. Looks to work fantastically apart from the filament melting to slowly.     This is a very impressive mod. Something that I have been wanting to do with my voron for a while. I’m currently running a 12 slot ercf and I want to add some more physical tools. Would you be willing to share some e more information on how you accomplished the software side of this with your macros ?

    Cool machine ! I have the same printer, and after numerous upgrades the rods and traxxas bearings seemed to be main cause of flex and vibration. How did u deal with this?

    Any chance you could point me towards a camera that is know to work for this. Most of the ones I'm finding online look like absolute e-waste with bad cell phone apps to control them.

    I was just thinking about having two motors per axis. I'm glad I found your video. With the limitation of the arm stiffness, is it possible to push a delta to the limit with just a single motor per axis? I'm very interested in this and would love to know the status if support in slippery, and your models if possible!

      I do but don’t use it because in the latest software version it is not needed, also couldn’t get it to work reliable with the magnets I had when I made it.

      No real update, it works just as any onther but with more torque. I have double the motors and stepppers on my CoreXY too that I use primarily.

      Actually 7 if counting the extruder. Instead of idler on top of each beltpath I put a motor controlled by a different stepper driver but synchronised in firmware to the one on the bottom.

    how do you have two printheads when your printer already uses 4+3 of a maximum of 8 steppers with the Octopus board?

      Like I mentioned, the tools are connected to a SKR 1.3 board. Klipper can use multiple boards, mixing and matching. Actually the partcooling fans and hotend fans are connected to Octopus because it has better fan control and only the heater, thermistor and steppers are on SKR 1.3.

      Shorter belt path as the belt is pulled at both ends gives less flex in belt and more torque when using 2 steppers.

    Well done on designing this with such simple off-the-shelf parts. Its a really good design that works extremely well! I can also see this used on CNC machines easily for tool offsets as well.

      Hi, thank you. Haven’t put up the motor mounts because it’s not implemented in Klipper yet and the mounts for sidepanels aren’t a perfect fit and also limits the printarea. Will maybe put them up later if there is intrest.

    What are the best filament and temperatures you've used? I have been able to melt enough esun abs+ around 310c for a 5 minute benchy. Unfortunately I have maxed out my hotend development. I'm currently running a dragon high flow with a custom volcano heat block and a volcano CHT nozzle :(

      I've been happy with PrimaSELECT PLA PRO. Tried a eSUN ABS+ Natural print and got it to 9.3-9.4min benchy on my CoreXY but it looked worse so didn't post that. CHT is great but I haven't seen a nozzle for Volcano, other than the modified one from CNC Kitchen. I haven't managed to print anything nice at this speeds. I've read that nano Diamond PLA is the best but have no experience. Nitram is doing some great work with custom hotends.
