HV Kaltenborn's news report was full of errors and outright faleshoods. The US base at Pearl Harbor was caught completely unprepared and unready. 12 hours later Clarke Field in the Philippines was attacked and surprised despite being alerted and the hundreds of planes were destroyed on the ground because Gen. Macarthur failed to heed the alerts. Clarke Field was a greater disaster than Pearl Harbor. A bad day for the US.

Are there any versions on RUclips that edit out the petri wine advertisements? Everyone I have found doesn't. I mean, I don't mind them, but man, after the 20th time, it gets so old, and I eventually give up.

I love listening to Lux Radio Theatre whilst I get some sleep. It's quite soothing. I may have NOT been alive when it first started airing over the radio but it's still really cool to listen to it on RUclips during the 2020s.
