The software does that stuff it sucks i don't know why

Some fans can be changed if they are compatible. To check look up the model and see if it is ICUE compatible if it is then you can change it.

I would check the exact model of the keyboard because if it is not the K70 RGB Pro it isn't compatible with the software if yours can connect then I would reinstall the Software and make sure it is updated and if that doesn't work then I would unplug it and replug it or turn the PC off. If that doesn't work then I don't know how to fix that you might contact customer support to ask for better help.

Some devices in the software just won't let you open up device settings but it also may just be where you are looking. You should click on the device then at the bottom on the right where you see like "Hardware lighting" it should be at the bottom of those and if it doesn't show up then odds are the device doesn't have the tab for it, also some devices settings have almost nothing in then and are super empty. To fix this I would click the + button on the sensors area in the home tab and go to system info or to what ever pops up and add the sensors you want, if this doesn't work then its most likely that your system won't allow ICUE to to see the specs.

I would try and search around in the fan settings for like rpm and turn that high if you can and just in the settings to see if you could find a setting that may fix it. If not then maybe turn off the computer and turn it back on. If that doesn’t work then uninstall the software and reinstall it then if that doesn’t work then it is most likely a issue in the computers building like motherboard or cables.

If it is from the nexus mods website then it should work if it is the current version.

I’ve found that to fix it go to the top left make sure to save the profile. Also make sure that where the white setting is set is in the hardware lighting area this gives less options but should keep it open when the app isn’t running.

All you really have to do I believe is plug it in the PC at the back or front. Then open up the software and it should auto detect it and then you can customize it from there.

For wired keyboards there doesn’t seem to be a fix other than reinstalling the software or unplugging it and replugging it in If it’s wire less then Corsair says that icue does not support the K55 wireless yet. So it can’t be paired

I actually haven’t found out a fix for it I just have mine on auto launch when I start up my pc it auto launches.

For me I don’t have to close it but when I close the window it keeps running in the background so it works. To try and solve this make sure that the app can run in the background. This would be in windows settings or in the app settings.

Are your fans Corsair? If not you should look in the plugins section and add the brand of yours if there is a plug-in for it. This may work or not. I have fans and that are asus and Corsair won’t let me control them. Hope this helps!

If you see a lighting controller then click on that and that should allow you to change it. I think if you don’t have the lighting controller icue won’t let you change the color. The controller should be something like “lighting node core”.

As of right now there is no option to add a device to ICUE. I would try and make sure it is showing up and working and then try unplugging the usb or if it is Bluetooth then disconnect and forget it a couple times.

Not one hundred percent sure with will work but if there is a cool option on the left side for your cpu cooler try and go in create a custom preset and then mess around with the fixed% tab and the fixed rpm. To do that grab the white dots and move them around so the dots are equal to each other. If this doesn’t work I’ll try and find another solution.

Unfortunately ICUE does not support any devices that are not corsair.

There is a chance that because it is used it won’t work. I bought a used Corsair mouse and it did the same thing. What I would do is try and uninstall the software and reinstall it. Make sure everything is up to date too and updated. If that doesn’t work then delete all of the profiles for the keyboard this can be found in the upper left corner and make a new profile. If none of those work then you might want to contact Corsair customer support.

For me it just auto updates

Dang that suck from my experience with Corsair products they are hit and miss. I had to return some ram because it would detect it but the new ram was detected.

The only way around this that I could think of is to get a usb drive and instal the software into the usb drive and then plug it into the pc and then connect all of it. This might not work and there is one problem is that the usb drive would have to be always plugged in.

@@cjstudios6447 not unless you move the file from the usb onto your c drive, and you need internet to get the file onto the usb anyway lol

@@Bikx_ i took it back and got the razer (something) mouse…same deal. I took that one back and got a logitech triathalon….their offline installer required the net. I gave up F them all!!!
