You people spend more time running down on people because of their skin color then you do enforcing traffic which is why you have all the freaking accidents you people have. Last night yesterday evening you had all kinds of people burning rubber all in and out of those restaurant parking lots around Bubba's in and around those areas almost everywhere up and down 36 where there is an empty parking lot you had some idiot kid burning rubber and doing figure eights. And you idiots ain't doing nothing about it.

just a suggestion; when approving fees for anything, regardless how trivial a sum the board might think those fees are, those monetary amounts should be spoken and declared so town business remains in a clear state of transparency to the general public

Salutations People of Avon, Well, will readily admit it; I truly do miss the old bait shop and pay to fish, was it not called Lakeview once? ....😀.... Just a reminder; Please, keep the interests of Avon's citizenry ever at the forefront of any action, and our wishes well in mind, and not merely whilr conducting OUR business but also when giving exception to outsiders seeking entry to set up shop around Our neighborhoods. By kowtowing to outre pressures and politics, to perform their will, what is often labeled as "best course" or "requirement" to further affect the grease on the proberbial "gate hinge" on down the road, though it might seem right for the rest of the world, that would simply never work for Avon, nor would it for any of Us! Oh, by the way; Why would we allow anyone the power to change our stoplights with the push of a button, by cellphone application, and why is this individual on his cellphone when he is driving anyways? Thanks, Cheers, and Blessings!

Kudos to Jared, for the "community photos" idea....such an accessible collection shall be quite handy, and a proper reflection of our community, just so long residents can submit their own photos. and let's not let single person's perspective define Us and confine Us to a label or box! And then, by allowing those large multimedia platforms an easier path to data mine OUR city and keep a thumb upon it's inhabitants. Cheers!

That "hard to understand equation" should have been completely understood before any "for" decision was made....especially when gambling with another property tax raise....whom can say, but I feel a hike a'coming.... Sounded like there was much on the agenda tonight, and the confused explanations given were neither clear nor concise, hardly anything that could not be construed as nothing but; particularly blurry. If there are unknowns and doubts, please just don't vote. Thanks....

Hello, I sure wish I had known about this "spotlight" on my Community, somehow it slipped by without garnering my notice. Sounds like the only thing standing in the way of plans to turn Avon into a full-time Amusement Park, at the expense of losing the final shreds of Her old identity, is the very utilities that are needed to run all it's amenities and businesses, what will surely it a strain on he systems in place, to the detriment of the homeowners already living here. The place where they magically turn wastewater into drinking water, is already, in my opinion, overtaxed. That tap water is quite terrible....does anyone dare ingest it willingly? And then, there is a new National proposal for regions to share their energy production output and make it available as something equitable, divided evenly amongst all regions of the several states. This will drastically effect the whole state of Indiana, I think the county planners of Starke County in northern Indiana, already cut a deal to send a great chunk of the energy production from their solar cell eyesore to Illinois. The people that live in the areas of energy generation had basically no say on any of what happened there....can you imagine the feelings of betrayal? When most of the coal plants, many set to close energy production by 2028 and 2029, will Avon lose it's agriculture acreage, replacing those crops with the blight of ugly wind farms and equally far from aesthetic, seas of solar panels....with no power storage station yet designed to bank the juice or will it be auctioned off? Did any of you know that Avon used to be a stop along the Interurban Trail from Indianapolis to Greencastle, an electric streetcar line? One thing that wasn't asked concerning all the businesses that plan on setting up shop around town is, some are wondering if these businesses require human workers or will they be fully automated, duties performed by robotic applications, with only a few highly specialized positions open to specific college degrees individuals, or will these businesses be looking to employ regular people, local humans? I could broach a hundred subjects and their finer points, but I won't, because I know this comment will likely go ignored. Most people are so frazzled with the problems of everyday life, and let's not forget the self absorbed state of our government, to find the time to consider how else they might be being had, not to say all the work you've done is bad....the lack of transparency, the actual genuine concern for how WE the people, that have lived here our entire lives, and I will fall back to my argument about the communications towers and overabundance of local antennae allowed to be placed in such close proximity to our homes, it is all beyond disturbing, it was and shall be gross negligence on part the entire council. For one, people should be better informed....just saying, "oh, sorry you missed your chance", whether to state a grievance or simply say "hullo", shouldn't be in a single evening or two, allowed only five minutes to say one's peace. Wouldn't you all agree? While you are all busy greasing the wheels and gates to make your ideas reality, you do injustice to the people of Avon for keeping their voices brief....when there should be more so concerned. I hope I didn't beat you all up too much here, but I wanted to leave a note in regards to infrastructure, just as that rather astute gentleman did when he gave his ten cents. These things should be answerable, not one of those, "I can get that to you later", if at all in reality. Thanks, Cheers and Blessings!

Salut, I hope this new Chik-fil-a establishment's institution of segregated dining/pickup has absolutely nothing to do with whether the customer has or does not have a vaccine passport.... And by the way, there is no rule the council must acquiesce to the askances of every business which presents their desires before them! I am aware the lot is largely unused, and the town would like to utilize the space rather than leave it vacant.... to begin with I am not sure why we even need another of these restaurants here in Avon! In parting, remember that small millimeter 5g frequency has been proven detrimental to most every form of life.... it is largely a weapon and hazardous on many levels. Do your homework, I would like to hear anyone do any research to cover my concerns and then speak on the matter honestly.... Cheers!

I left this on a recent summary of an event, which seemed like an opportune spot to air it, but it more properly belongs here; Salut, Too bad a church had to go, even though there may have been a need for more homes.... The appearance given is that faith is on the way out and something else is here to stay, and those tithes which served to actually help the community will go to the local government in the form of taxes that could have been allayed by the businesses moving in that got tax abatements. Tamping down negativity and particular problems regarding processes and proceedings is much like crushing concerns that need to be aired out. Crunching words of utter importance into a mere onrush of bumbled words is not only unfair to the citizenry whom had taken the time and waited to bring their concerns before a clearly tired council, but that type of modus operandi is also most unkind; and I daresay; especially when what is given here has already been said, and alloted near double the time to espouse it. No intention meant that what is said here was not necessary, it has a purpose; to lend clarity by summarizing certain issues into a form easily digestible to disperse it to them that were either too busy or constricted for time. I am not grouchy, just troubled by the fact our town council refused me the extra minutes because "their agenda took precedence over the single public comment", all twenty or so minutes of their planned agenda, before they cut the night short, leaving a public concern grossly unheard. Like I insinuated, this is no skin these two gentlemen whom appear here, though their treatment of me was less than cordial in the days leading up to my limited opportunity to speak my peace, disburse real concerns on a very relevant issue, and to seek recourse for the people that will surely be affected, give this council a chance to correct the wrongs they did consciously perform, full aware and knowingly.... Yet, nothing was more rude than the dismissal of my statements, besides the provision set up against every town member, every life and even those on the outskirts of neighboring communities. I must consider my early dismissal as an actionary reflex of self preservation, frankly because it did not show our council as they wished to be portrayed. It is a sorry state of affairs when the very people installed to serve towards the interests of our townsfolk choose to cherry pick what is to be heard live and loud.... rather they choose to relegate the worst parts to the dustbin and hope the trashman does not spill the can. That is where I stand, and once again understand there is no animosity here and never was, this is just another concern, and they are beginning to gather, which needs to be duly addressed, besides the more than obvious five gee problems we are to be plagued with. Thank You and Good Day!

Concerning the upcoming settlements with drug manufacturers.... I find it strange just how many people have suffered, when we are speaking about the real victims of this so-called opioid epidemic.... well, let me tell you; it was not the local governments, though police and paramedics have seen first hand how Big Pharma's products have damaged families; ending lives and wasting others. Why aren't the awards to be issued to the people that had those drugs thrust upon them, due to any manner of injury, from dental work to a pulled back.... making anyone that had ever finished their prescription, feel the after effects, some to the extent of a dependency, especially patients with long term pain and a lengthy rehabilitation ahead of them; many medical institutions and their doctors had no problem feeding addictions, knowing full well what was being done to the human condition. So here we go, this money is going to our local governments, to disperse to whatever branch they see fit. I realize The Town of Avon is likely getting this paycheck, and those on the future, for reasons very similar, pulled from the same coinpurse that reloading the State Treasury when the first phase of change rolled in and the Governor effectively locked the entire state down for any real reason. Should this money go to the Police Department, just what will it be squandered on? ....will it be used to usher in a newer system which incriminates it's citizens more perfectly? ....funds to purchase tools to further improve a mass surveillance network which already violates what was once considered essential; secured privacy. Must we be served another greater degree of unwanted overreach, more eyes and ears that omly serves to tear down walls of private spaces, and spy on our children unduly? Or shall the winnings be put towards purchasing a fleet of electric vehicles for the Police Force? I do want things that are goodly for my Town and our Protectors.... but not like that.

Good Morning, It will be greatly appreciated to see Avon townsfolk presented a clear view of transparency on everything in regards to their town, beyond where their tax money goes.... that should be a given. There needs to be a new level of accountability.... that hss not been the case as of yet.... Avon townsfolk deserve better. It would be nice for Town Hall to make a formal announcement concerning the ongoing 5g equipment deployment taking place and do it in a variety of ways just to make sure everyone is aware of; known health problems associated with exposure to various frequencies, other health risks and possible hazards.... surveillance abuse and privacy concerns.... other general information that could be of concern. Please make comment on the new Biden mandate concerning vaccinations and how the town of Avon will be viewing it, knowing well that AG Rokita opposes and will fight it in the 7th. Thanks and Cheers, have a good day.

Salut, I am rather touched that the Council may at least care somewhat about Avon's roadside pedestrians, their subsequent safety and well being, how very thoughtful and considerate, but truly a concern due to the current proposed plan, the close proximity of sidewalk to automobile traffic. Now, that said.... shouldn't the Council show equal concern regarding the communication companies' placement of their 5g antennas? There was zero resistance offered as counter to their push. You all should recall a few weeks back that the Council approved for a certain provision to be altered, that amendment granting these pushy communications companies an unchanging greenlight to install their devices near and clustered atop lamp posts in our neighborhoods, opening up our families, pets, trees and insects to a residual and unwarranted harm? The intrusive nature and nearness, the close grouping of these antennas (all made possible by the recently amended provision and allowed by your votes) will raise the traffic level of air pollution, from tolerable to one most unacceptable. We shall be subjected to a near constant bombardment of harmful frequencies. Many studies have been conducted and conclusions show these frequencies are known to cause conditions leading to a variety of illnesses and serious diseases, eventually leading to death.... this technology can easily be weaponized. Thousands of scientists have attested to this fact, have you folks not done your homework? You are supposed to have the resident's interests in mind, that would include our safety, at the very least! Not only a health concern, this tech is in effect utilized as a tool of mass surveillance.... they will know which bathroom you or your child is apt to use, and the time of each visit should they wish to know.... such a rude and undue intrusion. But, thanks for worrying about the jogger at least.... Great Job, Go Team.... do something that will make you heroes.... change that provision back to previous standards and show that you really care about our city, our Avon. Cheers, J.A.M.; resident.

Good Morning, I find it very discouraging and disheartening that no one has made a reply to my statement.... silence on your part is complicity, but I kind of figured it would go this way. I include here videos speaking on just how dire the sitiation has become concerning a mass roll out of 5G.... when already, 4G and 3G technologies have caused untold harm to the unwitting populace. I am not good at this standing up for a whole citizenry but someone has to do it. Allowing the installation of antennas atop any damn lightpole in Avon, or anywhere else for all that matters would surely be a travesty. To not stand up and fight against something detrimental to the health of the very residents you have taken oath of keeping their best interests is dereliction of your duties and a crime! Included are some videos by knowledgeable speakers espousing on the subject, this is notice to the Town Council to take action against the installation of these antennas as if today.... this is a matter of utmost importance. Thank You, if you have any questions I can be reached at; germus138@yahoo.com

Good Morning, What was just related is very disturbing. To allow small cells on light poles or lamp posts in a fashion that is only regulated by the amount of light poles standing or to be raised in the future is not a great idea, regardless of what any particular entity might say.... the very idea is beyond dangerous. This is not a positive thing whatsoever, and in no way should the issue be candy coated as something advantageous to the good people of Avon.... and yes.... the town can stand up to this and repel this foul intrusion. Please have regarding something of such great importance, have some spine instead of just rolling over, like one member so blatantly has already. There will be consequences relating to health, but do not take my word, look for the many studies concerning short and long term effects. This very issue has been fought in Congress where it was revealed that these communications companies, when presented with evidences that exposures to these frequencies are detrimental to health on many levels, these companies made an admission they had not studied the effects on humans; which is a blatant lie. These devices kill trees that are nearby, not to mention birds and bees. For those reasons alone, you do have a say but we are also talking about the ill effects on human life.... and as a member representing the city of Avon, you have the important responsibility you owe every resident to counter whatever legislature is levelled upon the people and homes of the city of Avon and in Washington Township. Do not shoo away the issue, look at the residents, and throw up your arms claiming there is nothing you can do.... that it is out of your hands, because it is not. Stand up and fight for the right for us to all remain healthy, if not you will see the worst pandemic to ever strike the land. You all have a responsibility, please do not take it lightly.... Avon can be the first of many cities to stand up for what is right. Look into the problems 5g has caused already, along with 4g and 3g.... even those frequencies are unhealthy.... 5g will do things unspeakable, please do this subject deep study. Thanks and Cheers, Have a Blessed Day!

Salutations, First of all.... Cheers! I would like to think that the purchase of the body cams is not only for, "the safety of the officers", but for "the safety and welfare of any officer or emergency respondent, persons involved; victim, passer-by or perpetrator, including also property owners and investor". I feel this small admittance, should it be made, is most important for the people of Avon to hear and know that this product and program is for their safety too; being it will be them who actually pay for the service and equipment. Let it be known that we deeply care for their well being and safety for the general public.... we greatly value our peacekeepers and every other emergency respondent that work in and service our community, the work they do must also encompass a greater degree of responsibility; by taking such a career path and having been sworn in, that is also a chosen acceptance. I wonder, just what the Economic Revitalization actually comprises of.... and then, what does this plan consist of and what will we be investing in, what codes would we be given to adhere to? And what of the wisecrack "looking forward to you moving your world headquarters here"? Funny, but not really so much. No one should be held above the penalty of law that has been ascribed to the common person. I believe, officer or city official, are all liable for accident and wrongful deaths or property damage just as anyone else is, regardless if the city or the person wish to avoid liabilities.... there should never be immunity, that is what the judge is for. Everyone must be held responsible for their actions. It is interesting to see how laws passed in Congress wend their way into State, then into County, and into City law conversation, and then are ultimately implemented.... Thank You for concessions and answers, should they be forthcoming! Cheers and Blessings!

Salut, Some might find the arrangements of these meetings just a bit difficult to adhere, because if I had known of this particular get together, perhaps I may have had a few questions or suggestions. With regards to the alterations considered in the first waiver raised by the Costco Representative this evening, it seems they are putting the business to the Town Planners. Would the architect have offered such a flat meager design combined with metal panels to a city on the North side of Indianapolis? How can this person call themself an architect, and as for the other two feet that you asked had requested, they would subtract the landscaping.... why don't they sacrifice two feet of their parking lot, or even ten or twenty feet of asphalt. Please do not roll over for these people, the architecture has much need to be visually appealing and from all visible sides... I beg to differ with one member of the Board, the building is quite ugly, if I am so bold to say. Stop bending over, businesses like these, if they want to be so obliged to place their product here really need to invest in our city. It is corporations like these that cut corners, ask favors, and then manage to get tax breaks in the beginning and the end. The architect could easily amend the pland and maybe dig a little deeper and find a way to make this better for everyone, and when I say everyone I mean Avon, considering they wish to place that barn in our town to throw our money at, they are to collect our hard earned monies Is she trying to emphasize the front doors so at least people might find the way into the damn place. I would require at least some variation to the brickwork beneath that horrid metal and every dozen or twenty rows just to break up the monotony by adding some styling or patterning with the brickwork. Please, stop being pushovers, think about the junk that has been allowed to be raised in our town. I have seen Town Hall let some owners of certain properties slide on owed taxes, and then other times when commissioning services for Avon projects, there has been little haggling or competition involving multiple bidders. Remember, you are working as representatives of the people that live here.... I moved here in first grade back in 1979. While there has been much to celebrate, there has also been a few bruises and perhaps even a black eye given to Avon. Personally, I feel some real citizens are much needed on the Board or at least present in person at these ordeals; a few that have experience working on construction sites in landscaping, stickframing or steel perling and beamwork, a nice old lady that can instill value in the bunch, and maybe a car salesman.... not to get anything for free but something more for our buck. These companies have all the money to spend. While all the little businesses were purposely forced into closure, this company and others places were allowed to keep their doors open and they thrived actually profiting and raking in government handouts.... or else they would not be building anew on several sites. Well, maybe it was just past dinner and everyone was starving.... that must be why there was hardly to none on the revision.... I cannot blame you all for being hungry, but let's try to do a good job for the People of Avon at the very least. I hope nobody takes this too harshly because there is no harm meant, I too have been critiqued from the bleachers or the peanut gallery on many occasions for my work. I apologise for the poor grammar and spelling, I am doing my best from a cellphone. Cheers and Blessings....

Hello, Some questions regarding the town offices... Is it regular for the past Pres, VP, and Secretary to be the only ones to log votes for the next Pres, VP, and Secretary to take office... especially when they vote for themselves? Was there anyone else considered or that had expressed interest in those offices? I am sure I will have more questions by the time this meeting has finished, thank you.

This really needs to be done in person, instead of this inefficient format ... and for something so important such as citizens monies this board has been put in charge of these matters surely deserve more than a cursory glance. These figures and proposed spending plans need to be sent to each resident instead of merely assuming it is okay just to ram plans through because there has been little to no resistance, just do what is right by the people of the town and not as other governments have shown in their poor examples wasting monies. Also, what are Avon's plans for 5g roll out and has anyone seen to proper testing to see if there are any negative health problems associated with this technology? Thank You....
