My 2nd cat was an American shorthair red tabby. He did loved his belly rubs on my belly. He was a big sweetie.
Noo, when it's laying like that you are supposed to sneak up on it and grab it's belly like you have bear claws and back up into a defensive position ready for retaliation. Which is coming sooner or later. If you have a mean cat he will come at you right away. If it's a smart cat it will stalk you later. Either way you might of made a huge mistake. Some forget right away and some don't. Fun stuff being on edge all the time waiting for what's coming. If you play your cards right you get to play a violent game of tag. There will be blood but it's totally worth it! 😅
