All of this for that night king and his army who gets killed in one episode of GOT with no back story or proper screen time or a dailouge However the army that fought white walkers is of north, dotharaki, unsullied and free folk... who mostly were not of westros which aegon conquered for the purpose.. and there is lannister sitting on iron throne ruling 6 kingdoms out of seven. If only north mattered on ice and fire then it was easy for aegon as starks too knew why the wall was built and what was beyond it ( clegane stark mentions jace that wall keeps death out of westros) THE WHOLE POINT AEGON'S CONQUEST IS LOST It would have an epic ending if dany conquered westros fully first then unite the people of realm to fight the death together which was base storyline for entire game of thrones universe

True fact. None of this was supposed to happen. Dany was supposed to land and accept the surrender. But as she was bringing Drogon in for a landing, he skidded a bit and struck some sparks. That wouldn't have cause any damage accept Kind's Landing was built over underground fuel storage tanks. These caught fire, so Dany had to rush back to Drogon and take off. Drogon never breathed out any fire during these scene; this is a pastiche of Dany flying in circles and back and forth over the area. In post production the flames were added in to make it look like the fires were caused by Drogon.

Say what you will about the bad writing but this is one MF epic scene. Emilia was phenomenal. You could literally see the anguish and rage on her face, something in her snapped and she was at the point of no return. I could totally understand her perspective and feelings. When you're filled with pure, undiluted rage, all you could think about is to burn and destroy everything.

If I were Daenerys I would be furious at the man/woman who usurped my father's throne and occupied my home. King's Landing was built by the Targaryens not the Lannisters, Baratheons or any other dynasty. The Red Keep and Iron Throne fell as they were built by the Targaryens. Daenerys helped the people of Westeros but they didn't care about Daenerys and the reasons behind her. Just like when they laughed and supported Ned Stark being beheaded.
