It's about 40 feet. Most jump feet first arms out and have bruised armpits and arms the next day. My drunk ass at 33 years of age (2002) decided to DIVE no training of course...the water was flat and beautiful and I was hollering at my 6 month PREGNANT, stone sober wife to show me her titties before I would jump. She did! That warranted a dive instead of jump in my inebriated brain. As I dove she said the crowd gasped. I hit the water perfectly and then I realized I had rotated just a tad too far and hyperextended my back...instant sobriety as I struggled to swim over to the exit area. It took about 2 months of NSAIDS for my back to forgive me. So....don't dive drunk.👍
How deep is the water when you jump
Its like 15 feet deep, you wont hit the bottom

I was there in the mid-70s. I have no interest in going back there if it has changed into this. So sad.
It’s been destroyed by hurricanes and rebuilt twice since the 80s that’s why

Nigga stfu i’m 14 and i did it the reason dumbasses like you get swells is because you don’t land right your supposed to land in a pencil formation i did it like 7 times and i’m fine the waves aren’t huge genius there’s no current that sweeps you away and there is a boat next to a line that borders the zone in case your dumbass gets lost
