    Sorry your had so many issues. I was lucky, mine (Left handed Majestic Purple) arrived in perfect condition. Frets were already smooth, and rolled at the edges, locking nut was perfect, everything about it was perfecto. All i really had to do was install new strings, and adjust the action to an even floating style I favor. String action adjusted to a lower level without buzzing of any kind. For the cheap price it costed, I was very impressed with what I received. Still haven't modded it in any kind of way since the electronics seem solid, and the pickups suit me enough. I almost feel dumb for having paid so much for a lefty EVH Striped Series guitar, actually when all I need to do is install the original pickup my EVH Striped Series came with (I replaced the EVH Wolfgang Pickup with an EVH Frankenstein pickup which is closer voiced to what Eddy;s OG Frankie had) onto this Kramer, and presto, I'd essentially have another EVH guitar since the necks are so damn close in feel, quality, and style. Kramer knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. I'm contemplating on buying the Ebony colored one. *ZZounds.com

    • @therocknrollguitarlounge7057
      @therocknrollguitarlounge7057 6 месяцев назад

      There are many ways to set the action like by the tremolo bolts yes, in conjunction if your neck has to mutch bow making it straighter might lower it and make it more playable around the first frets towards the middle of the neck also if your locking nut on the headstock is too high that will affect the height overall but more towards the headstock frets. I would take it to a luthier and have it set up all the way around to be honest, but play with the tremolo screws a bit see if you can get it where you feel its good enough, don't forget to loosen the string tension before you turn those screws.

    Please correct me if i'm wrong because I had to be somewhere so I didn't watch the entire video but isn't it best to spray a clearcoat over the shielding paint so that it's protected? I was told by a Luthier a couple issues with shielding paint is that it deteriorates with age (compared to copper tape) and each time you want to use it you have to stir the jar or can to death because the conductive lead or graphite sinks to the bottom and clumps up over time. Thanks for the video 🍺🇨🇦

      @@therocknrollguitarlounge7057Yeah, if you watch a lot of guitar modification videos or unboxings you can see the Shielding Paint already flaking off in the pickup or control cavity on a brand new import guitar and I suspect its because not every manufacture sprays a clearcoat. Thanks for the friendly reply, well earned subscription! 🍺

      PS, I did a 9 month internship with a guitar tech. First tip is to try White Lithium Grease in Saddles, String Trees, Nuts and Tremolo. The Tech picked this up from John Cruz who used to run the Fender Custom Shop. I also picked up a tip spraying Finger Ease on the back of a sticky neck in between string changes. I hope these help anyone reading 🍺

      @@christopherfidler3019 I wonder if those cracks make a difference? Or how big of a difference it would make in decibels. That would make an interesting video. Thanks for the SUB my friend. ✌️

      @@christopherfidler3019 Yes I’m sure that works for better tuning stability, I notice if you spray a little bit of finger ease on the nut and the saddles it helps with tuning but that can get messy. LOL. Thanks for the tip again. ✌️
