I always prime first so paints adhere better; gives the paint more tooth.

This helped me a lot :) Thank you. Why should I prime this? Im wanting to paint them orange, yellow and some form of red. What would happen if I did not prime them?

@byronheard I use acrylic paints with the Celluclay and I do think this would make great "snow" for any craft winter scene.

@gracie1046 Hello! Thanks for viewing my video on the Celluclay. It's one of my favorite mediums. You can use any paint on them but I suggest you prime with gesso before painting. I've painted with watercolors, acrylics are my favorites. Hope this helps. Best regards..............Marilyn

Great video, and I didn't notice the ummms. Excellent technique. I am going to use my ridgid wrap as a base for a mosaic shape. The quick drying time is a real plus.
