Lessmüller Lasertechnik presents a technical innovation for the extended use of sensor technology in tactile fixed welding optics using the ALO3 from Scansonic. For the first time ever in this class, it is now possible to use OCT (optical coherence tomography) technology for sensory quality assurance and control of welding processes. Various points can now be measured during the welding process, such as the immediately cooled weld seam (seam inspection), the difference in height between the upper and lower sheets or the current position of the welding wire.
