yeah, i messesd it up in the original version of the map (and walkthrough) and my spawnpoint was just under the pillar which let me go up since my spawn was obstructed. That being said, its fixed in the current download! and I learned how to do the glitch properly lol.

This video was made for the kenadian discord server so i didn't put the map rules here, but one of the rules is "no external tools, mods, datapacks, etc, (except for file explorer)" i'm not sure exactly how playerdata is stored in mc worlds, but editing directly would require something besides file explorer (or the equivalent for your OS) and would make the attempt invalid. The full ruleset has been added in the description if you'd like to take a look!

​@@d4lt414 so i messed around with your puzzle and turns out you can delete the whole prison by resetting the spawn chunk. Saves -> Think Outside - A Puzzle Box -> region -> and delete r.0.0.mca. It this a valid escape method? Lol

⁠@@naoxi1I was about to say that yes, technically it still falls within the rules and would therefore be valid, but given that the requirement to escape is “be safely on the grass outside of the escape room”, then it becomes impossible since you can’t be outside a room that doesn’t exist, therefore technically invalidating the attempt, though maybe that’s up to your discretion. Clever solution though, and part of me wonders if there’s a way I could utilize deleting chunks as part of a puzzle!

@@d4lt414 right that makes sense. In that case, you can delete the region file, run outside where the bedrock box would be, and paste back the region file from the original. Also, I've found a way to change your coordinates: choose the puzzle in the singleplayer menu and hit recreate; Run outside where the prison would be; delete the world.dat, world.dat.old, and playerdata folder inside the original world and finally take the world.dat out of the recreated world into the actual world. Turns out you can do a lot with a file explorer :) at that point might be easier to just do the intended route tho

@@naoxi1 turns out you can also just delete the region file, run outside of where the prison is, and then replace the region file from the original download to put the prison back! between this and deleting chunks, i wonder if theres any way i could make a puzzle out of it! i think the only way i actually prevent like half of these from being useful is by using a bedrock world and making the end goal be a really high platform so. I was able to get on top of the prison by deleting my region folder, getting a bunch of blocks, pillaring up, and then replacing the region folder. I'm gonna try to investigate further but this stuff is already crazy
