Sorry to say this lovely tune, composed by the Great Nephew of John and Great grandson of Charles Wesley is not a good choice, for ease of scanning. Hereford I always like to play as alternative to Wlton when we sing O Though who camest from above. But nicely played!

Thanks for that. The lyrics here from the Trinity Psalter Hymnal are very similar to the Sing Psalms version 1b.

At the moment this is one of the most viewed of my Psalms. A great tune, and of course a great Psalm!

The tune is Desert also known as Lyngham and known to most from the hymn O For A Thousand Tongues. I think the recommended tune for this version of the psalm is Petersham but if you have a full hall then Desert is a winner.
