No, it's not just that easy, that was my point. It is very hard, but the solution to the problem is not to do it in your own strength which is what everyone advises you to do, as though you can just "get over it." You can't, because at the end of the day we sin against God first, we have to ACCEPT God's forgiveness. When we have this breach in our relationship with Him, it is impossible to have true forgiveness of ourselves. One has to come before the other, or you will continue to feel empty. It may sound trite, but the heart of the issue is we are so "self-important" that we cannot see the path to forgiveness in His arms. If we stop focusing on "us" and what "we have done" and instead start focusing on "Him" and what "He has done" (the finished work of Messiah), something changes in your perception of yourself, and forgiveness and redemption can come in and fill the void. Our perception of ourself changes when we sin. We look at ourselves as only a sinner. When we meet God, we see Him as a Savior and therefore we are no longer sinners, but saved by grace. My point was that we need to come back to the heart of it all when our view of ourselves is out of alignment with His victory. Death and sin have been swallowed up. Sin may have been what we did, BUT it is NOT who we are! Somewhere along the way we forget this. We will never be infallible. We will always make mistakes. BUT God changes our story. This is not a one time event. God continues to renew our minds. This is why we have to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. While Yeshua did His work on the cross once, we have to accept it's life-giving truths daily, more and more. When we read the Bible cover to cover do we say we understand everything and I never need to pick it up again, no! We know it continuously renews! I said to someone the other day that studying the Word of God was like dipping your toe into a stream. No matter how many times you dip it, it will NEVER be in the same water twice. Yeshua is the Living Word, we need to understand this deep truth about His salvation as well. When we drink deeply of the wells of salvation it is never the same twice. My entire point was, I, you, everyone needs to come back to the well and drink again because where there is torment there is the devil and God wants to wash over you once again with His saving grace unto lasting forgiveness.

Amen, Don. We should help out where we can, and recognizing that the real problem stems before pregnancy, that there is a spiritual deficiency in this world. This is where we must begin our fight. We must be light and salt to restore Godly values to this nation and around the world. We must help women to realize how to make wise decisions before they are in a crisis and vulnerable to the lies of the adversary. Thank you for your comment. God bless you.

To advance God's work, it starts from me, my family and my community. Focus on what we are in common to work together, leave a good impression to the world, we call it light.
