would it make sense to extend the deep sleep function with an OTA flag: if OTA request commences, halt deep sleep cycle?

It would be good to have moisture levels from dry to wet in % for plants and soil, thanks for the video very informative and helpful.
Thanks for the comment. You can easily calibrate some levels (very wet, wet, moist, ..., dry) with the map filter, or change the given filter example into generating continues percentage points (in this example mapping 80-120 to 100 to 0 - in a probably non linear way).
