Hi there! I'm OperationToonUp. This is a channel dedicated to my videos about Disney's Toontown Online and Toontown Rewritten. Formerly known as "hagertyh" for mostly making Toontown music videos through 2007-2011!
My main toon was a 137 laff lureless toon named Fireball. I have remade her on the Toontown Rewritten community server and now she's 140 laff, feel free to say "hi" if you see me around!

Toontown Rewritten 1 Laff CJ Solo (No Cogs Miss, No Lowden)
Oh boy. This was the hardest cog round to conquer yet. But maybe it just felt that way because I actually ended up running out of rewards and needed to go SOS Shopping and level up in Bossbot more to get more fires. I was starting to sincerely doubt I was going to be able to pull it off before Under New Management released to the live server. I'm honestly so relieved that I did it. Training up a toon since last year to be able to do this series of solos took a whole lot of effort and I'm so glad that it paid off.

That is actually exactly why they made this update! They wanted things to feel like less of a grind. So to max your suits, you now need to do less! And yes I absolutely agree disconnecting in a back 9 was the WORST! Glad that we won't have to deal with that anymore! :D
@@OperationToonUp thank goodness. i havent played TTR in 7 years. i decided to come back and having fun again. just starting off slow before i get into my usual grinding. also im glad sound got nerfed bc another thing i didnt like was just sound spam over and over and i generally like variety in strategy. this update did so much to fix those big issues i had with this game as an end game player.

This can not be done like this again. In the new update there are many more high leveled cogs now, and when they break their first suit they still get to attack. Lucky you got this done before the update.
Yeah absolutely! I was actually really trying my best to get this and the other bosses done before the update for that reason! :) Very happy that I managed to do it
@@OperationToonUp It's really cool, I just hope it wasn't too much of a pain having to restart so many times and spend all that time on the table hopping to avoid getting hit. Wild difficulty, but someone had to do it. Glad you got it in time.
@@SimonLeeth Thanks so much :D! I think the biggest pain by far was trying to make sure I had enough rewards. But it made me feel really great to get it done!
@@OperationToonUp Can't imagine how long it took to get all the awards. I've seen people that maxed out all rewards and that.. That is inhuman. At least it didn't require that, but sure must have taken a long time.

Nice job! I think TTR did a nice job with this update. The steel factory is definitely harder than the scrap factory.
Hai I'm making a Toontown project and for it I need a picture of a notable lureless toon and your Fireball toon was really the only one that came to mind. I know this is silly, but if you felt up to it, could you somehow post a picture of your Fireballs toon's toon detail screen? Like the one that shows up if you click on someone's name and then click the arrow to see their gags. It would be a big help :D

Oh yeah absolutely! I don't know how many failed attempts there was because I wasn't keeping track but Toontanic missing was definitely a reset and it definitely happened at least once

For the past couple of days I've just been playing your videos in the background while I play TTR. It just helps ease the bore of grinding bldgs and such. I haven't even gotten to anything past VP and seeing your CJ's and old CEO videos freak me out a bit. But keep up the good work, very entertaining to listen to even just the gameplay and to watch as well.

LMAO Luckily none! But I did die once to backing up and jumping into a gavel on accident. I managed to practice my movement beforehand and that helped a lot. If I didn't practice I absolutely would have gotten destroyed way more than that.

Oh my god. That final round looked crazy stressful. All the Cog evidence almost brushing against you, positioning yourself between those gavels, trying to pass the gavels, dodging the CJ's jumps, juggling all of those things at once... One small lapse in concentration is all it takes... And that jump at 25:08 made my heart skip a beat. I imagine the scale being low enough to throw from 27:24 must've taken off a lot of pressure.
OH MY GOODNESS YES IT WAS SO STRESSFUL! Yeah that jump I thought I really thought I was done LOL. And yes you're so right I was so happy when I didn't need to weave between the gavels anymore!!!

Congrats! CJ is considered the 1st/2nd hardest boss to 1-laff because of how easy it is to touch stray evidence/gavels. How many attempts did the final round take? Next up is a solo 2/3 star field office, but that's going to require a ton of rewards.
Thank you! Yeah it was really difficult! The final round took me two attempts. My first attempt at the final round I backed up a little too close to a gavel and got hit by that. Then it took me a long time to get back to the final round because of countless resets where the cogs were going to become unlured and I couldn't kill them because I used my level 7s already. Also had to reset once because of a presentation miss of all things LOL Also yup! Hoping to do a Field Office solo someday! :D

so higher suit level still = lower evidence ammo? thought they got rid of that... the autoclicker for low throws is a mood tho. and the level 12s in the CJ are a pain in the ass
Yeah it still gives you less ammo in higher tier CJs. Also just so I don't get in trouble in case TTR Staff sees your comment I should probably mention I was using mouse keys for the low throws, which TTR allows. I don't think autoclickers are allowed. And YEAH the level 12s messed up my runs countless times they really were a pain LOL

Another great solo! Don't downplay your crane round - you played it extremely well and smart. Of all the bosses to solo with one laff, the CFO by far is the most tricky in my opinion. At one laff, you have to almost consistently damage the CFO towards the end to ensure he never has a chance to put on his safe helmet while making sure each crane is set up, avoid all the goons and their random movement speeds and pathing, and on top of it avoid any treasures from stomped goons to keep the solo at one laff. It can be a lot to manage with all these random variables and can be a very frustrating boss to finish off, but you made it look easy! Big props to you for completing this challenge. :)

Its between CFO and CJ. CJ you have to avoid touching evidence and the gavels throughout the evidence round. Whereas CFO you ideally need to be good at live gooning because you don't want to stomp too many goons. One requires more mechanical skill, the other requires carefulness.

@@dog_owner Oh sorry! I wasn't sure what you meant. Live gooning just means picking up goons that haven't been stunned and using them.
First. I found that live gooning is an easier way to solo the cfo, 1 laff or not. Less time spent disembarking to stomp goons. The most important thing to know in a CJ solo is to move back or forth to dodge evidence, and make sure your toon isn’t facing a cog directly. Jumping is dicey in a 10 fog CJ because the extra 2 cogs’ position staggers their evidence.
Good points! If I was more well practiced at live gooning I would have definitely preferred to do it that way entirely. The only reason I was stunning them was to prevent their movement more than anything. And good point about the jumping as well I've definitely noticed whether it's a solo or not that it's definitely not a reliable way to dodge yeah.
26 minutes on hard mode? Man, this sure beats an approx. hour or so long torture that is the back nines. Good riddance!
