The Don Quixote tutu turned out beautifully, but I do point out that in the setting the ballet is set in, Kitri wouldn’t have the money for such expensive clothing if she was a peasant. She would likely wear something with more durability, and her clothes would have been mended and recycled many times.

I understood some of what was shown as I volunteered at a studio in CT years ago. I wish that all of the video wasn't so fast, so that you could appreciate the time that this takes. The work is exquisite and you can appreciate the quality. Now imagine 2 or 3 or 15 on stage - dazzling! Thanks for the memory.

Imagine the music and being able to dance and wearing that costume and coming on to the stage and the gasps from the audience. Wearing that has got to raise your dancing to a new level and that of the audience experience. All hail the costume makers 👏👏👏👏💜

Wow, the effect of the multiple layers and the way they're cut is so beautiful - are they dip-dyed or like spray painted? I actually involuntarily gasped when they're shown all put together and gathered. Stunning, incredible work!
