I thought the exact same thing so I tried to shift it in manual mode to get a few more RPMs out of it. It does a hard power cut at 3000 RPM. It was much slower when I tried shifting it myself than when I ran it through automatic.because it kept hitting the power cut line

According to my dragy, my fastest is 10.922 seconds. I have no idea if that’s any good or not, I didn’t even know it was measuring it but I’m gonna guess it measured it during a quarter mile I’ve done.

There's no way my 5th gen crew cab with short bed 5.7L non-e-torque, non-air ride 3.92 gear 2wd, diamond black Laramie sport night edition 22" factory sport dark gray wheels went 14.20 @ 101mph in perfect conditions at sea level in Texas with 22" nitto drag radials to hook. It's a pretty loaded truck with the 12" inside and 360 cameras, seemed like a factory freak compared to others I've seen and raced 14.60 looks about average for those trucks. Also mines lowered 3/5 and still bone stock shuts off at 105mph and has 109k miles the drag radials are same height as stock 285/45 goodyears. If yours a 14.3 on 35s stock I'd love to see some footage

My Stock 19 5th gen Laramie 2wd went 14.30 @ 101 not bad for 395hp and heavy truck.. but we got something for yall Eco-Boys and can't wait to hear the crying.. LOL A Lil 3.0L Twin turbo I-6 with 540hp/530tq and when tuning becomes available it's game over.

@@daltinos1011 guy at work bought a 22 Denali with the 5.3 and I waxed him with my 21 f 150 with a little wee 2.7 ecoboost so don’t think a 5.3 can run with a 3.5

@alicepooper8562 22 has 3.23 gears. I'm sure your ecoboost has atleast a 3.55. Big difference in that alone. I have 3.73 which gm doesn't do in Any of there trucks from 2019 and newer unless its a gas heavy duty truck. 3.23 is for pussies that think they need a truck but don't want to sacrifice mpg.

@@daltinos1011 I do have 3.73 gears in my truck and it will beat an 8 speed 5.3 with same gears no problem so good luck against a 3.5

The eco boost was a 2017 with the 10 speed and the v8 was an 2018 with 10 speed.

@@patlynch1632 both Crew cabs? Can tell the 5.0 was and I thought I saw a big door on the eco. They did well against one another. My buddy has a 2020 3.5 and I have a 19 5.0 and I spank on him but I’m also tuned which helps

Both our crew cabs. I later tuned the eco-boost, there are videos on this channel, showing some acceleration for different levels of tuning.
