Keith Jarrett: “So Tender” | Ansgar Striepens | jazz trombone solo | Live Session 2017
From 2015 to 2017, I occasionally met up with Johannes Behr (guitar) and Volker Heinze (double bass) for a small trio session at my home. At these relaxed and wonderful meetings, we played standards and original compositions. In 2017, I transcribed the piece “So Tender” by Keith Jarrett, which we added to our repertoire with great pleasure.

I wanted a jazz award show I had the whole lineup except I wanted steely Dan sting Bruce Hornsby Jerry Garcia and the biggest purest jazz performers too!! So they don't have to go to Europe to make money! Jazz is an American institution it should be supported as such it's of a national security interests that jazz music is institutionalized as American music and branching out to all parts of the globe influencing other nations to embrace what America produced impeccably! Thanks for listening!
